Hair problems! please help?

I have wavy/straight hair and I use Herbal Essences body envy beacuse it smells good and I needed extra volume and pantene pro-v extra control frizz creme, but I've been having some problems with my hair. I straighten my hair almost everyday(but it ends up wavy at the end of the day) and i've been seeing split ends and i want to grow out my hair so i don't want to cut them. I want to try a leave in condtioner or a hair treatment. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Well, I would suggest conditioning the bottom of your hair more than the top part of your hair and letting it set longer. Then rinse and do the same thing over again. That should help some with the split ends. If you straighten your hair everyday I would put it on a lower heat setting than what you have it set for now. you might want to try a wet2straight straightener. If you want to try a leave in conditioner I would use infusium. It works really well. Good luck!

Its the straightener. Lay off it for a week and condition your har every time you take a shower. Wavy hair is cool to!

when you have damp or wet hair after the shower... put in some hair straightening cream or conditioner on then dry your hair and straighten it.. it will prevent humidity from making your hair wavy.. it really works.. L'Oreal Studio Hot Straight Cream thats what i used to use..

hair rebonding and use as much conditioner and hair treatments as you can to replenish lost moisture to hair due to straightening chemicals.

to free yourself from everyday ironing or whatever method u use to straighten your hair i would suggest that let your waves breathe and if in case u have a bouncy and volumized hair then alas,wavy hair is good as well as long as your hair isn't too dry to notice.

Try to minimize the use of conditioner, or use the shampoo and conditioner in one. Do not use hair straightener every day, that's the cause of split ends. Wash it every other day. Air dry it instead of hot blow dry. Go to the salon, have a minimal trim to get rid of split ends , then start taking good care of it, follow the one I mentioned above, it works for me because I had the same hair like yours before.

i would go to a local salon and see what they have to say about your hair, also see if they can cut your hair(only the spilt ends) and dont have length cut off of your hair.

i suggust treseme strengthening shampoo/conditionair. then when your hair is damp spray a heat protecter on it(VO5 extreme style:heat defense spray) use a"wet to straight" straightner....if possibleif not let air dray as much as possible then blow dry it on a "cool" setting after use strengthening creme when it is complete for a finishing product.also use "bed head": split end mender.I have had the same problem and this has really helped me.I hope it will work for you.

i use this straightener : Conair with turbo start and up to 25 heat number. look at the link on the bottom. if you straighten you hair after you take a shower the straightener will frizz your hair. Straighten your hair in the morning when your hair is dry so that it will stay straighten for like two weeks. Take the straightener and slide the straighten you hair like 20 time so that it will stay that way for ever. I did mine two day's ago and it's still straitened. I cant wash mine that often or else it will get really dried out. Dont spray anything on you hair before you straighten it because it will frizz up, spray something on after you straightened it. oh yeah i also use avon's advanced tecniques hair shampoo and shampoo so that it doesn't dry out. i pull my hair back in a loose pony - tail so that no one knows if it's wavy or not.

the straightener is causing the ends to burn, just do something cute with your hair for awhile and dont use the straightener so much. as for the split ends i recommend Garnier Length and Strength shampoo/conditioner. works great to help treat split ends.
