Pink hair dye?

my friend and i are going to highlight our hair with pink. shes blonde and im a brunette...we are using a temporary hair treatment from Sally Beauty Supply. how long does it take to completely wash out??

Temporary treatments usually wash out with in 8-12 washings. On brunette hair you might not see much results...On the blond hair (hopefully its not bleached or it will stain the hair) You should see true results. If it is a Jazzing or a Manic Panic on the brunette hair you will only see a hue of the color in the sun...your hair will not lighten with a temporary color

Well, permanent, doesn't. It should only take a week for regular though. Well, that is if you take a shower every night and scrub hard!!!! It will probably not show up as much on your hair, but for blondes it takes a week to two weeks. Since it wont show much on yours, probably a week.

I'm assuming you got Manic Panic or Beyond the Zone. They will usually last several weeks. You may want to consider getting shampoo and conditioner that is for color treated hair. For blond hair, it's going to show up a lot better because you're starting with lighter hair. For the brunette hair, it's going to be more of a dull pink. For dark colored hair, you usually bleach it and then put the dye in to get an intense color. Sally's sells a bleach kit by Beyond the Zone that has your developer and bleach powder. it depengs how mush you put in. if you put in alittle bit it will only take a few washes. when i was 12 i did that and i put to much in and it took forever to wash out. it took like three months.

The blondes hair may possibly stain pink. As for the brunette, if you don't bleach your hair out, you may not see the pink very good. Possibly not at all.
