I have platinum blonde on my hair for around a year now, i love it, but i noticed that i lost a lot

i love it, but i noticed that i lost a lot of volume, lost lots of hair, and it is looking very fragil, very damaged, i don't know what todo, cause I love the color on me, it is perfect if my skin and my blue eyes, but i want my hair to look healthier again. I have been trying all types of hair treatments and conditioning.

I s it true that when you dye your hair blonde your hair gets thinner? Do you think if i do some dark lowlights it will make my hair thicker?

You need a deep conditioner. The blonde can kill hair. I have been dying my hair since I was probably 12, just to lighten it. It can thin your hair, only b/c your hair is being stripped of vital nutrients. You should try taking a prenatal vitamin (which is really good for your hair) and use a really good condition. Paul Mitchell or BioLage products are both great.

Since I started using the BioLage my hair has done a totaly 360 and I love it!

If you dye it again it will just get worse. No matter what color and dyeing your hair blonde does not make it thinner. How many times have you died your hair? It's probably just damaged so bad that it's falling out. Just don't dye it agin and keep treating it.

Do you get it done at the salon? If so how come you haven't asked your hairdresser? Anyway why don't you get a deep conditioning done at your har salon..it works well. Also if you think your losing volume try to blow dry your hair upside down. That's what I have to do because my hair is long and it weighs down. About the thinning I am not sure if highlights do thin your hair because like you I get the platinum with carmel blonde hightlights for over a year and I have not seen any thinning. With low lights to make it look thicker I am not sure. I have my hair dark brown on the bottom. But try a deep conditioning at the salon. And if you do go to a salon to get your hair done do you always go to the same lady? Cause if you do she would notice a difference.

weell i bet you its becuz they used bleach and you might have sensitive hair and you can either have hardly any hair or have your beautiful voluminous blonde hair and go with highlites

moisturize and it and minimize straightening and blow drying. you should probably let the blonde grow out and then once you get roots and see a noticiable change in the health of your hair, you can go ahead and dye it again, but to a darker color to get volume and thickness. maybe like a honey blonde or light brunette. then, make sure to keep your hair healthy so you wont have the same problem.
