Hyperpigmentation after laser hair removal. HELP?

I have PIHP after I had hair removal treatment done. The place where I got it done used an IPL laser and burned almost my entire back. I'm going a to a doctor and getting IPL PIHP removal but no improvement. I am also using aloe vera, hydroquonine, and licorice extract to help but still very very little improvement. If anyone knows how I can remove these scars, I would be eternally greatful. I am very desperate b/c i'm getting married this year. PLEASE help.

Hyperpigmentation after laser hair removal. HELP?

you can try a homoeopathic cream - witch hazel / hamemilis virginica.

it is good in removing hyperpigmented areas, it may take few months to improve though.

good luck and congrats for your marriage

How long should you put mayonise in your hair for as a treatment?

Well, they normally recommend deep hair conditioner treatments to be left in for 30 mins so prob that long. I personally feel that the longer it's left in, the better. Although it would be hard to bear it in your hair for a long period of time

How long should you put mayonise in your hair for as a treatment?

not too sure i have never heard of it xxx lol

what is it meant to do??

How long should you put mayonise in your hair for as a treatment?

30 minutes to an hour

How long should you put mayonise in your hair for as a treatment?

Until it starts to attract flies.

How long should you put mayonise in your hair for as a treatment?

I would say 30 min and wrap your hair up in a towel or a plastic cap. You can also add a egg to the mayo, that works good too. Also theres a good line from Pantene called VIVE PRO and it works in about 5 min and no cooking utensils required

How long should you put mayonise in your hair for as a treatment?

i would say like for 20-30 minutes.

How long should you put mayonise in your hair for as a treatment?

I'm not sure, but I wouldn't use mayonnaise at all. There are plenty of satisfactory deep conditioners on the market. I don't see the need to put mayo in the hair.

How long should you put mayonise in your hair for as a treatment?

Until someone wants to eat you lol kidding. The longer the better. Also when you do the treatment cover your head with a plastic bag to keep the heat in.

How long should you put mayonise in your hair for as a treatment?

well when i do it i leave it in for about 20-30 min.

How long should you put mayonise in your hair for as a treatment?

30 minutes would be ok but you can do it up to a hour but make usre you rinse it out properly. when i use to do mayo treatments to my hair i would after leaving in the mayo treatment i would rinse my hair well then put in conditioner to help get out anything else and( conditioner helps keep in the moisture) this would get all of it without getting rid of the benefits of the mayo treatment.

Hair question?! Home made treatments or advise?

I had a situation where i had highlights, hated them and dyed over them that was nearly 2 months ago, now my hair looks really dull and the colour isnt great as im quite dark and it took 2/3 loads of dye!

Is there any home treatments(like homemade) or anything i can do to get the colour looking shiny and healthy!?

Hair question?! Home made treatments or advise?

I know! I know! Try this:

1 鎴?cup lemon juice

褰?cup water

Mix, rinse through hair. This will get rid of buildup. Wrap hair in towel for 15 mins, then rinse with cold water

THEN

1 teaspoon baby oil

1 egg yolk

1 cup water

Bowl

Beat the egg yolk, add the oil then beat again. Add to the water. Massage into the scalp and throughout your hair. Rinse well in 1 hour. This will condition! Rinse with cold water.

No matter what, always rinse with really cold water! It locks in shine!

Hair question?! Home made treatments or advise?

no prob ^_^ Report It

Hair question?! Home made treatments or advise?

You could use a hot oil treatment ($5-10 @ Walmart for a home kit) The main trick is to keep your hair hydrated!

You could also start using the John Freida Brilliant Brunette colleciton or Pantene Pro V's Brunette Expressions collection. I have used them both and they work very well, but they're a little pricy, so I just use Aussie 3 minute miracle!

To bring out the shine in my hair I use John Freida Brilliant Brunette smoothing cream and I use a leave in conditioner (Nexxus, $10 @ Walmart)

What product can i use on my hair to make it really strong and not fall out?

my hair doesnt fall out so much but i notice it sometime on my clothes im looking for a hair treatment that i can leave on for atleast half an hour and that will help prevent my hair from falling thanks

What product can i use on my hair to make it really strong and not fall out?

I know this may sound really gross and not true but I swear my cousin did it once and it cleared her face up completely. It took two to three hours to apply but only 45 minutes to dissolve all acne.

Here is the formula:

You mix horse semen and cow dung. Combined it will make a powerful scent but do not be afraid. Next try a little,if it tastes like ****, it should, because in actuality, it is ****. Next rub it on your face and it should be cleared up ASAP.

No need thanking me, I already know I am the best around.

What product can i use on my hair to make it really strong and not fall out?

What product can i use on my hair to make it really strong and not fall out?

LOL wow that guy above me...crazy much???

anyways...

its normal to loose some hair, but myself i find it easier to avoid it if you don't use alot of products on your hair, or too much sun damage...like straightening or curling or anything you do alot.

go for the natural look...its easier to deal with too...and if your natural look isn't so great, use products that won't hurt your hair, try for natural stuff...

but that's just me.

i used to hate leaving my hair natural, i wanted straight and everyday..it damaged it alot.

and now i love my normal hair, its so easy i just wake up and maybe put in alittle leave in conditioner or comb a brush through it and i'm ready to go..and i have noticed less hair.

that's all i've got.

-lacy

What product can i use on my hair to make it really strong and not fall out?

naturally everyone sheds around 100 hairs a day. if you have exsessive hair loss then you should see a doctor. if you hair is just dry then try a leave in conditioner. go to a local salon and ask a stylist for the best kind for your hair type.

What product can i use on my hair to make it really strong and not fall out?

Start taking a good multi vitamin and make sure you're getting all your necessary vitamins. A lot of what's going on inside, shows up on the outside.

What product can i use on my hair to make it really strong and not fall out?

Here a few simple home remedies which can be tried at home to control hair fall. To treat hair loss apply a little lemon juice with some black tea. Massage well and shampoo.Rub oil into the scalp. Wring out a towel in hot water and wrap it on the head. Keep it on for 15 minutes. Shampoo and dry well. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

Hair treatments for chlorine...?

Summer time, we are swimming almost every day. I always shower as soon as I get out of the pool, but my hair IS becoming more brittle. What are some easy, cheap at home remedies to help my hair retain it's health and shine?

Hair treatments for chlorine...?

This is silly but I got this advice about 5-6 yrs ago when i was swimming everyday (all day). You hair becomes brittle and if it is a light color (green) from the chlorine within the pool. I bought all kinds of speciality shampoos and conditioners but then my mom read a home remedy. Essentially, you need to put conditioner (make sure it makes your hair wet and fully covered) on before you even step foot in the pool. The conditioner helps protect your hair from the chemical ... It worked like a charm for me. Give it a try!

Hair treatments for chlorine...?

It's a 10 - its great! ou apply it after getting out of the pool. It was let you run a comb through it, add shine, and return texture and health.

I have the similar hair type and this is what I use!

I hope this works for you.

Hair treatments for chlorine...?

well i know that u said "home remedies" but tresame' and herbal essences work really well.. or u could just start wearing a hair cap when u go into the pool

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

any cream or hair treatment suggestions are welcome,i'm only in my mid thirties

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

Well, first you go bald!!

No cream can replenish your hair. Could try a wig or, if you have a good, strong, outgoing personality just go with the flow, or loss in this case.

You're still the same person with, or without, hair and that's what counts.

If you're not that strong talk to your doctor and see what he can suggest.

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

Hair club for men.

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

Try some anti hair loss products?

Always see them in pharmacies and departmental stores

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

Try some hot oil treatments.. they're really good and they put all the goodness back into your hair.. they're pretty cheap and you can get them from anywhere really.. Boots, big superstores like Tesco, Adsa etc.

i hope it all works out 4 u! = )

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

if my hair started loosing then i would try to take ayurvedic treatements

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

go to a college its cheaper and ask them to do a scalp stimulater on you. it does work, when i was at collage i perfomed this on a lady for 4 months and really saw the difference.

it stimulates the scalp and pushes the hair shaft to produce the hair growth.

Hope this helps

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

Are you eating enough protien?

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

there are a couple of things you can do, first of all go to yor gp, they might be able to prescribe something, it might only be a temporary loss, are you under stress or had a shock recently? Hair loss is common after women have their baby, as the hormones return to there normal balance.

secondly boots do a product called regain, its a tablet you take everyday for a month, its approx 鎷?5 per supply which is pricey but can often be effective. I would visit the gp. If your on medication it might be a side effect.

Try not to worry

Hope your ok

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

blame your dad for the hair loss it,s inherited there is no real cream just implants sorry

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

Deep conditioning treatment (Organic Root Stimulator Hair Mayo). When your hair is dry use Organic Root Stimulator temple Balm. It's excellent.

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

Have you tried to wear a wig for men? Go to a wig store near you qr any wig store. This way you could get an idea what you would look like with one on and they come in many styles and colors.

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

go to a doc now and start using ragaine God bless

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

I WOULD SUGGEST ROGAINE OR NIOXIN BUT FIRST THING I WOULD DO IS CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN ABOUT THIS PROBLEM BECAUSE THERE MIGHT BE A WAY TO PREVENT IT.

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

Take 2 tbls. apple cider vinegar in an 8 oz. glass of water. Drink this tonic 2 times a day. Hair and nails will grow super long super fast. ACV cleanses internally, gets rid of acne, lose weight.

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

It depends where you're going bald. If it's in the back (top) not the front, then you could try the new Rogaine Foam. That's the cheapest route. If it's falling out like crazy from the front I don't think there's anything you can do except get the hair transplanted from the back of your head. oww

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

Just wondered if you have your thyroid tested as if you have a tyroid problem this results in hair loss. Just a thought

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

First consider your genes, because if your father lost his hair early it's pretty likely you will too.

Only have one idea that might help.....my husband started losing his hair for awhile at about that age and he was advised to cut it really short for awhile and let the sun get to it....luckily flat top cuts were "in"...so that is what he did...and it solved the problem and to this day he has never lost a lot of hair.. Short cuts are "in" and maybe you could just try a shorter hair-style for awhile.

Also.. if that is not the problem, losing some hair won't be as noticeable if you have it shorter...but try not to worry about it too much...not always something you can control.

There are also nutritional causes for losing hair...might check in a nutritional healing book (find it at a health food store) for suggestions what might cause it. That too might help.

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

BUY SOME DO GROW AT CVS

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

u should drink more calcium like milk example it work for me

What do you do when you start losing your hair from the roots?

I think you need to see a doctor about this as hair loss so young can be a sign of more serious things. If its all fine than just accept it. I personally find baldness sexy, loads of celebs these days are bald and they are still as popular as ever.

Pink hair dye?

my friend and i are going to highlight our hair with pink. shes blonde and im a brunette...we are using a temporary hair treatment from Sally Beauty Supply. how long does it take to completely wash out??

Pink hair dye?

Temporary treatments usually wash out with in 8-12 washings. On brunette hair you might not see much results...On the blond hair (hopefully its not bleached or it will stain the hair) You should see true results. If it is a Jazzing or a Manic Panic on the brunette hair you will only see a hue of the color in the sun...your hair will not lighten with a temporary color

Pink hair dye?

Well, permanent, doesn't. It should only take a week for regular though. Well, that is if you take a shower every night and scrub hard!!!! It will probably not show up as much on your hair, but for blondes it takes a week to two weeks. Since it wont show much on yours, probably a week.

-cool, that sounds fun!!!

Pink hair dye?

I'm assuming you got Manic Panic or Beyond the Zone. They will usually last several weeks. You may want to consider getting shampoo and conditioner that is for color treated hair. For blond hair, it's going to show up a lot better because you're starting with lighter hair. For the brunette hair, it's going to be more of a dull pink. For dark colored hair, you usually bleach it and then put the dye in to get an intense color. Sally's sells a bleach kit by Beyond the Zone that has your developer and bleach powder. Hope this helps!

Pink hair dye?

I am not sure, but pink hair does make u look like a punk rocker.. haha

Pink hair dye?

it depengs how mush you put in. if you put in alittle bit it will only take a few washes. when i was 12 i did that and i put to much in and it took forever to wash out. it took like three months.

Pink hair dye?

The blondes hair may possibly stain pink. As for the brunette, if you don't bleach your hair out, you may not see the pink very good. Possibly not at all.

Does anybody no any good treatments for long damaged hair???

i need a deep treatment for my hair because it is slightly damaged. i have it cut every 6 weeks but it still looks tired and dry. it is frizzy and needs a ....lift lol - anybody have similar hair or knows what i should use on it???

Does anybody no any good treatments for long damaged hair???

Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Time Rewenal the shampoo, conditioner, and refining mask. Its supposed to restore a year worth of damage in a month. Don't apply any heat to your hair or you will damage it even more. Do deep conditioning once a week with homemade products you can put mayonaisse in your hair for 20 min before taking a shower. Or the Avocado deep conditioner you need a 1/2 Avocado and 1 small jar of mayonaisse. Then Peel avocado and remove pit. Mix all ingredients in a medium-sized bowl with your hands until it's a consistent green color. Smooth into hair being careful to work it to the ends. Use shower cap or plastic wrap to seal body heat in. Leave on hair for 20 minutes. For deeper conditioning wrap a hot, damp towel around your head over the plastic, or use a hair dryer set to a low to medium heat setting.

Some good products that will help:

Redken Extreme Deep Fuel Strengthening Treatment Extreme Deep Fuel durable strengthening treatment helps restore your very distressed hair back to its natural, healthy state. Making it stronger!!

BioSilk therapy: Leave-in replenishing and reconstructing treatment, Bonds and strengthens the hair inside and outside

, Fills any voids on cuticle layer, Repairs split ends , Protects (heat, UV, cold, pollution) and leaves hair shiny and no buildup.

Paul Mitchell Instant Moisture Daily Treatment Conditioner

hydrates and revives dry hair. Moisturizes and Strengthens 閳?Soy proteins and shea butter join forces with Instant Moisture Complex to instantly moisturize, improve strength and enhance elasticity. Detangles and Adds Shine 閳?A special combination of detangling agents provide excellent slip to the hair and intense shine. Thickens and Repairs 閳?Panthenol penetrates deep into the hair to add volume and increase body; panthenol also attaches to the surface to help repair damaged cuticle layers

Does anybody no any good treatments for long damaged hair???

VO5 hot oil leave it in for a while right to the tips of your hair then rinse

Does anybody no any good treatments for long damaged hair???

I do protein treatments followed by an hot oil treatment. Then you oil your scalp with olive or Castor oil. They are great moisturizers and absorbs quickly.

Does anybody no any good treatments for long damaged hair???

What I do is take a professional conditioner, and after washing my hair, put it in and leave it overnight, then do a gentle wash in the morning. Feels like magic, I do it once a week since the top sector of my hair is also very damaged.

Does anybody no any good treatments for long damaged hair???

You can go to the salon and get a protein condition treatment done or find the stuff at a salon to do yourself. Hot oil treatments have always worked for me. But beware because they will weigh your hair down for 2 days. Sounds to me like you are not using any heat treatments while you blow dry and style your hair.

So get a conditioning treatment done. Use a heat safe product while styiling and use a mouse or Ampd styling product to get the boost you are looking for.

Does anybody no any good treatments for long damaged hair???

Nutrogena Tripple Moisture Deep Conditioner/Hair mask. I straighten my hair every day so I use this to hide the appearance of damage...it makes my hair smooth and silky.

Does anybody no any good treatments for long damaged hair???

well if u had been in mumbai i would have helped u as i have my own beauty cosmetics and thus have a treatment for damaged hair,i think a hot oil treatment is the best but the oil used hould be the right as according to ur need then only it will help and a use of proper shampoo and conditioner can get u rid of this problem,i hope this helped

Does anybody no any good treatments for long damaged hair???

the best product is olive oil. buy a cheap regular bottle of it and while you are in the shower, coat your hair with it and "wash" with hot water. bring your hair up in a bun with a hair tie or sumthin. then, after you step out of the shower, just leave it in for whatever time you have..be it 5 mins or a couple days. your hair will improve! a really good shampoo is aveda damage remedy. i got my hair fried at a salon %26amp; my regular stylist recommended i use this to heal it. %26amp; it works sooooo well. worth every penny.

f you have the money, get this stuff: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh... it's coconut and alma oil, which has been used in india for so long for beautiful, shiny hair. it smells amazing %26amp; makes your hair really soft/healthy, but it's more expensive.

Do hair treatments or hair products with keratin really work?

Anyone here who works at a hair salon, can you tell me what is best for blech damaged hair?

Do hair treatments or hair products with keratin really work?

Keratin is what coats the hair shaft and is also a part of your fingernails. Keratin is what makes the hair strong, so yes, it does work good.

I think you should get ApHOGEE Green Tea %26amp; Keratin Reconstructurizer. Find it at folica.com.

Do hair treatments or hair products with keratin really work?

you have to try this

I think you should check out www.biolustreflorida.com

I just went to their launch party and had my hair done, free as a demo. Its amazing, my hair was breaking off and flying away. I will always always buy this stuff. Its awesome, I saw a difference as soon as she rinsed my hair. I have no damage anymore, its unbelievable! No more split-ends, its like my hair is NEW! I love it!

Ok i was wondering how long i will take my hair to grow 4 inches with doodro growth treatment?

ok i was wondering how long i will take my hair to grow 4 inches with doodro growth treatment 10 points to best answer

Ok i was wondering how long i will take my hair to grow 4 inches with doodro growth treatment?

.

Ok i was wondering how long i will take my hair to grow 4 inches with doodro growth treatment?

Doodro does not show up online.

this must be a marketing question.

As you know, nothing will make your hair grow faster.

about 1/2 inch per month is what you can expect, and rely upon.

So to answer your query, about eight months.

Whats a good hair treatment?

i grew my hair out for the first time, its really long but it doesnt look as healthy. even though i just got my haircut my ends are split and frizzy. what should i do?

Whats a good hair treatment?

Make sure you use a really good deep conditioning treatment a couple times a week. If you have access to a Sally's Beauty Supply store, they have a product that has all natural oils like almond sunflower and many more and that is all the product is. It is called Doo Gro. Saturate your hair with it and then put a disposable shower cap on and leave it as long as possible. I use it while I' cleaning my house or watching a movie. It has really helped my hair and it is very affordable $5-$6 a bottle. You will see an improvement and your hair will be shiny and healthy.

Whats a good hair treatment?

Go to a hair dresser. They will know a lot more.

Whats a good hair treatment?

I love Farouks Biosilk silk therapy. I use it when I get out of the shower. It smells great and makes my hair really soft. I also use KPak hair conditioner (you can find it at trade secret or Regis salons).

Whats a good hair treatment?

Try the suave "sleek"--It comes in an orange bottle. There's shampoo and conditioner. It's the same product as the Matrix Sleek at about a 10th of the price. I've used them both and see no difference except in my wallet...and the stuff really works

Whats a good hair treatment?

There are many hair products today that would help with your problem, you'd be better off asking a cosmetician. Blow-drying your hair, using electric rollers, anthing of that sort on your hair can damage your hair.

Whats a good hair treatment?

Go to a hair salon. Usually they will recommend the best treatment after seeing your hair type.

Is laser treatment safe for chin hair removal for ladies? No side effects?

no not always it depends on your skin sometimes it causes

rashes and scars

Is laser treatment safe for chin hair removal for ladies? No side effects?

lazer treatment has no side effects. u jus gt one or two burns in da size of a pepper ball, which 'll heal max. by 3 days after the treatment. its good to identify da texture of the skin and go to a known specilists under the guidence of a good cosmo or dermitologist..there'll b no probs then...

(self-experience)

Is laser treatment safe for chin hair removal for ladies? No side effects?

after the first session i noticed that in some areas the hair did not grow back at all!! try it if you would like, its gonna cost ya a pretty penny, but its painless and the results last forever. because each persons' skin type is different you may have to get multiple treatments for all thair to be gone. on average you need 5 to 6 treatments.

the package deal i got was for the full butt, brazilian, and underarms for a total of 6 treatments, costing around 5k after the discounts.

for the face you should ask the laser hair removal professionals about price and safety/protection for that area. just keep in mind that perfect results should not be expected after the first treatment, it does take time!

if you have any other concerns you can message me at my myspace...

Is a malibu treatment for getting rid of green from blonde hair?

if it isnt, what is it for?

Is a malibu treatment for getting rid of green from blonde hair?

A Malibu Treatment is a very natural treatment used to rid hair of impurities such as: well water or hard water build up, brassiness, and yes--green tint from chlorine. It works. Have it done at a salon--20 minutes under the dryer with a plastic cap on.

P.S. There is an answer above from Tweetybird--don't listen to that please!!! Putting a stripper on your hair will ruin it. She needs to go back to cosmetology school and learn some new tricks of the trade. I've seen some pretty bad advice from her on a few of these questions.

Is a malibu treatment for getting rid of green from blonde hair?

i don't know

Is a malibu treatment for getting rid of green from blonde hair?

its used for getting red out of hair i thought. At least thats what I had it done for.....

Is a malibu treatment for getting rid of green from blonde hair?

That must be a new fang-led treatment named by the beauty shop or cosmetologist, as some people are called, Because a good brand stripper should be used to remove the chlorine you swam in, which will remove the green color, but may also change the natural color.

Is a malibu treatment for getting rid of green from blonde hair?

The only thing I know about for taking care of swimming (green) hair that has "Malibu" in the name is this Malibu C shampoo and conditioner my sister and I use during the swim season. We buy it at this little shop by our house, and it smells amazing. It works really well, too!

Is a malibu treatment for getting rid of green from blonde hair?

Yes, it has multiple uses, conditions, removes impurities, color too brassy, and chlorine build up. It is the timing under the dryer that gives you the results. Once you have done that, use Paul Mitchell 3 for removing chlorine after you go swimming. Try wetting your hair before you go into the pool, spray a leave in conditioner, then go swimming. Immediately, rinse your hair after swimming and wash with the Paul Mitchell 3. Always use conditioner after you use any clarifying shampoo. This should help, after the Malibu treatment.

Good Luck!

Is a malibu treatment for getting rid of green from blonde hair?

As a licensed Cosmetologist for 20 years, and living in the south, I have seen lots of "summer" green hair.

After trying every clarifier on the market, and calling several of the name-brand hair color hotlines, we consulted with a local swimming pool company. KETCHUP...one word...it works...

On bleached blonde, or natural that has turned a greenish color here is the deal: Dampen the hair with a spray bottle. Take a large bottle of ketchup (squirt bottle of course:) and start applying the ketchup. This is rather messy and doesn't smell wonderful so be prepared. Saturate all of the hair, seperating it somewhat to let this soak in. Place a plastic cap on the head, and wait about 30 minutes. Rinse hair with cool water, then shampoo and condition the hair.. This treatment really works, and doesn't dry your hair out like some of the clarifiers, as the ketchup contains the color, but also the oil to protect your hair.

Where can i get a treatment and what kind for my hair to grow???

answer please... DALE!

Where can i get a treatment and what kind for my hair to grow???

Hair and finger nails are made up of keratin which predominantly made up of the amino acid "glutathione" which is not used much in the body for anything else. Ultimate facial and body skin care? Hair care?

I'm a 20-year-old male who takes care of his skin and face regularly, and I try to do what I can for my receding hairline. My question is, what is your routine face and body treatments, as well as hair treatment for ultimate care and anti-aging? I'm trying to figure out what new products to buy and add to my arsenal.

Ultimate facial and body skin care? Hair care?

I am an Independent Consultant for Arbonne International, and all of my male clients love our NutrimenC RE 9 kit. It comes complete with a exfoliating facial wash, shave cream, misting toner, and a moisturizer with SPF 8. Plus it made with no animal by-products, and dermatologist tested.

It is never too early to worry about aging of skin, it happens as early as our 20's, it is best to have a regimen now then later. Any questions you can email, otherwise have a great day.

Ultimate facial and body skin care? Hair care?

Worrying about anti-aging at 20 is not a good idea, perhaps that money would be better spent elsewhere.

Ultimate facial and body skin care? Hair care?

You know there isn't anything wrong with a maintenance visit at a dermatologist. I believe in regular upkeep rather than waiting, like most people are finding out with sun damage, way too late. Good Luck.

Ultimate facial and body skin care? Hair care?

Pssst. Mr. Metro. Less about the skin and hair, more about the women. Get your priorities straight, or people won't think that you are!

Ultimate facial and body skin care? Hair care?

Well , you need to try to go to the cosmetics department and get the face creams. I use L'oreal Day cream and night cream. They also have a product called Transforming cream which makes your skin look smooth. The most expensive is not always the best.

Ultimate facial and body skin care? Hair care?

Wash your hair with eggs and beer once a week. This is very good for your hair.

Use the Papaya Skincare Line from Bee-Luscious Cosmetics by beeroyalproducts.com. It has papaya enzymes to dissolve dead skin and oils. I use the cleanser right before I shave it really softens my whiskers for a smooth shave and no razor burn.

Frizzy, Dry, Damaged and Bushy Hair?

I have tried many hair products such as Pantene, Herbal Essences ( Dangerously Straight), Redken Dry Hair Treatment, Olive oil, and Ionic Blowdryers

but none of those seem to work, someone once suggested fo me to not blowdry my hair but if i don't, ill look horrble

Any other suggestions?

Frizzy, Dry, Damaged and Bushy Hair?

apply vitamine E oil

surely u will get results

Frizzy, Dry, Damaged and Bushy Hair?

use sunsilk green DE-FRIZZ

Frizzy, Dry, Damaged and Bushy Hair?

If your hair is frizzy dry and bushy, your best bet is shine serum and a hot iron.

This will make your hair tame, and the hot iron will make your hair less full.

Frizzy, Dry, Damaged and Bushy Hair?

use sunsick it helps

Frizzy, Dry, Damaged and Bushy Hair?

Can I ask has your hair always been like this if not what has caused it to go like that?

firstly you need to buy Lanza products for your hair problem.

绂凱rotein Plus Shampoo鑺? Designed for chemically treated

or environmentally stressed hair because of its ability to restore pliability, strength and shine.

绂凩eave-In Protector鑺? Shields hair from heat styling and environmental damage. Eliminates static electricity and frizz.

绂凴econstructor鑺? Compatibility and elasticity are restored leaving hair healthier, stronger and more pliable. Increases the longevity of color and texturizing services.

Redken 绂勭绂勭All Soft Silk Fuel鑺? Durable softening treatment instantly transforms the texture of dry, brittle hair to silky softness. Frizzy, Dry, Damaged and Bushy Hair?

Try Garnier Fructis Sleek and Smooth shampoo! It is a great product that defrrizzes hair and gives the moisture your hair needs. For damaged hair i suggest that you talk to your hairstylist. She probably knows your hair best and will give you some great products for damaged hair like yours. Try not to put hot iron or blowddryers on your hair. It will make your hair even more damaged and burnt. Seriously try to google

About Laser Hair Removal?

I was planning to go for laser hair removal treatment for my black facial hair. I read a lot about the treatment but I am looking for feedback from people who have got it done in reality. I wanted to find out if there are any bad after effects on skin or did the hair grow back? What things should I check whne chosing a treatment center? How much did it cost you roughly? Has anyone taken the treatment at DermaCareUsa?

About Laser Hair Removal?

Hi, I have had laser before on my face as well. Unfortunately, I didnt work for me but I attribute this to the doctors lack of knowledge. I am actually trying another doctor later this month who has a better laser, and hopefully a better technique.

You should read about the lasers, there are different kinds for different skin and hair colors. I am pale with dark hair (considered the best candidate for laser treatment because the laser picks up the melanin in the hair follicle) - so the best laser for me is the alexandrite or diode. (although the Light Sheer did not work for me, but I going to a doctor who uses the Candela GentleLaser which is considered to be the best for my coloring). Again, all lasers and doctors are not equal. Do your research, it is quite expensive depending on where you go.

Stay away from discount clinics, this is your FACE and there is a chance of scarring.

My experience with my dermatologist was horrid. I had scabs on my face for 3-5 days, my face would swell like a balloon and I'd have to sit with ice packs for a few hours afterwards. I didn't realize that this wasn't the norm becaues I figured a doctor would know what they were doing, but no. I am going to a plastic surgeon this time around so we'll see.

I dont' know what you do with the hair now whether you wax, shave, use nair, bleach etc but make sure you do not wax or pluck or bleach the area a while before your appointment.

Bleach - this will lighten the hair, the laser picks up the color in the hair (darker the better).

Tweeze and or wax - rips the hair out by the root, you dont want to have the laser done then two days later you have a few hairs that you plucked a week or so back make their debut on your face.

It cost me about $375 per session at my dermatologist but the plastic surgeon I am seeing charges about $275 for the chin/face, etc. Almost all doctors offer a consultation - some may be free and others may be anywhere from $50-$200. Many will apply that toward your first session if you decide to go with them. Some doctors also offer a free consultation which personally works out better for me- I personally wouldn't want to feel obligated to pick someone because I knew I wouldn't get my money back from the consultation.

Understand that it's not a one shot deal either. Your hair goes through different growth stages. The hair that 's on your arm tomorrow may not be there next week, etc so you will definitely have to have more than one session - usually spaced about 4-12 weeks in between treatments so it is an investment.

In terms of pain, I mentioned that my doctor torched my face, from what I've heard from friends who've had it done as well as reading online - this shouldn't happen. The pain is compared to the snapping of a rubber band on your face. Take aspirin about an hour or two before the treatment and make sure you don't schedule before or during your period. Always after - you'll be less sensitive to the discomfort, even though it only takes about 15 mins. My suggestion is to see if the office has weekend hours or go late on a Friday - you will be red afterward, almost sunburned and may have light scabbing.

Good luck and make sure you read about the lasers, it could mean all the different in your treatment.

PS - It's not disgusting as what is posted above, having hair on your face is a huge embarrassment and may get worse/coarser with age. It is a relatively easy procedure that will g ive you a ton of confidence when you have one less thing to worry about. After all, this is your FACE we are talking about.

Don't it ruins your skin. Plus it's disgusting. Better safe than sorry!

everyone loves some product. body lotion? moisturizer? shampoo? conditioner? deep hair treatment? facial mask/peel? nail polish? makeup? anything! just tell me what particular brand and product you love and some details. maybe your skin type or hair type or what know too. please comment i love to hear things like this.

Recommend anything? tell me your favorite product. makeup, lotion, hair care, clothing tip, whatever tell me.?

I recommend the Eminence Brand. It's a bit pricey but more then worth it! This is their website: http://www.eminenceorganics.com/ - I use the Stone Crop line. I acutally went to a spa and had it recommended for me. I love it. It's wonderful.

As for hair products I recommend the Sunsilk brand. I've been using the 'Straighten Up' kind but they have lots of choices for other hair types. It's smells great and my hair is so touchable.

Lotion - I use the Suave brand. It's inexpensive and feels great. And best of all my hands don't break out when I put it on. (My hands are sensitive and react to some lotions)

Make up, which I rarely use, I have most of my stuff from the Body Shop.

I hope you enjoy pampering yourself.

Aveda Damage Remedy conditioner. I get highlights, so it really helps to keep my hair healthy and really soft. I love it. It's a bit pricey, so I only use it once a week. (I use a cheaper conditioner daily)

How do i get a natural rich dark hair without dyeing the hair?

I have a healthy hair, but do not like the colour as it turns brownish red at the tips, how can i get a natural dark hair without dyeing? i'm just hopping there will be some hair treatment for that

How do i get a natural rich dark hair without dyeing the hair?

I am pro- natural stuff. Rosemary is really good for your hair and it will make it dark and shinny. After washing your hair, rinse it with a strong tea made of rosemary. Leave it in and do it every time you wash it. Be careful though, Rosemary is a "jealous herb" and if you mix it or use it with another product like Henna, your hair would turn bad. You can use a natural, organic shampoo made of Rosemary too. Like Avalon Organics

How do i get a natural rich dark hair without dyeing the hair?

drink soya bean milk.

How do i get a natural rich dark hair without dyeing the hair?

I have the same issue you need to cut the tips and than use a color shampoo. Choose an dark brown or even the midnight black and it will help deepen your hair color.

How do i get a natural rich dark hair without dyeing the hair?

pantieen pro-v midnight expressions

How do i get a natural rich dark hair without dyeing the hair?

Use a wash in wash out toner.

How do i get a natural rich dark hair without dyeing the hair?

get some that you shampoo or rinse in like a henna maybe

its only temporary and it worn hurt the hair at all or get some shampoos that give you like a darker color there are several just go to a store and look for a shampoo that looks weird they have one for redheads, blackheads, blondes etc -- good luck

How do i get a natural rich dark hair without dyeing the hair?

Try a temporary rinse instead of a permanent dye. You'll have to do it more often, but it won't look as fake since you won't have the root problems of dye.

How do i get a natural rich dark hair without dyeing the hair?

You will have to use a dye. But nothing permanent. Just go darker on the ends. Get a rinse.

How do i get a natural rich dark hair without dyeing the hair?

what's your current color now?

if it's blonde... you should start shampooing with a brunnette color depositing shampoo (aveda is good) then.. glaze your hair with a color glaze (john frieda luminous color glaze in brilliant brunette).. however, there's no way blondes could get super dark without dyes.. to avoid that reddish brown you're talking about, use a semi-permanent hair dye (I've heard good compliments about the Clairol ColorFlirt semi-permanent dyes..)

if your red-head..do the shampooing and glazing method for blondes.. if it still is not darker, then you got to dye it.. same deal, use semi-permanent dyes to avoid the reddish brown thing..

if you hair is naturally dark (but not black).. but you want to give the color more "rich".. then.. use a shampoo for brunettes than DOESNT deposit color (if it deposits color, it could alter your current color..).. i recommend using john frieda brilliant brunnette shampoo AND conditioner (brings out natural color without depositing any..).. then use the john frieda color glaze 2x a week to keep you hair shiny!

if you have black hair.. then you have to use a permanent dye in order to strip the color out of your hair..

for light browns.. use color depositing shampoo.. then glaze your hair with the john frieda color glaze.. it should make your hair dark enough..

How do i get a natural rich dark hair without dyeing the hair?

Use a semi-permanent dye (like Natural Instincts), they're non drying and can only be used to make your hair darker (or brighter), not lighter. They only last about 1 month, but it just washes out and you don't get roots or anything. Try using one of those color-depositing shampoos as well. You can find them in most drug stores.

Dry hair? Want to dye it soon though, help?

Now that it's becoming cold out, my hair is starting to become very dry at the ends. And I'm worried if I try to dye this damaged hair something bad could happen...?

Now I NEVER shampoo my hair from a few inches below my ears and below and I always condition (with leave in conditioner, and sometimes the in-shower kind also)- but the ends still make a "crunch" sound end if I squeeze them, as if I have hair spray in my hair, which I don't....

So what are some deeeeeep conditioning treatments I could use for my hair?

:(

(And please don't suggest I just "trim" my hair. I already cut it about a month ago. It just- like I said- cold up here! Which makes my hair dry... so I think a good deep hair conditioning treatment could work.)

Feel free to suggest homemade treatments or one I could just go buy at Target or Walmart, for a fairly cheap/reasonable price.

Thanks!!!!

Dry hair? Want to dye it soon though, help?

buy the shampoo called heads and shoulders. i believe there's one for dry hair.

Dry hair? Want to dye it soon though, help?

Put the shampoo in all the way then w/ the conditioner put it in leave in 4 a while the rinse out. As 4 the dye i dyed mines over the summer....it actually made it a little smooth/soft -er but it wuz from a bottle that said semi-permanent put it stayed it.......yeah.

Dry hair? Want to dye it soon though, help?

well...you should try and wash your hair thoroughly esp with conditioner, on the roots cuz they make your hair dry. you might want to apply more on the tips..and i think you should get it trimmed a bit...also hair treatment helps-twice a week or so and dry naturally..no blow dryers and use your towel and gently tap your hair. Apply products that protects your hair and really, you need to find the right shampoo and conditioner that works best for you. Also, massage your head...when you wash your hair ...

Dry hair? Want to dye it soon though, help?

I'm in the same position right now. I don't think you should die it beause if you do that its going to get worse. Firstly don't use hairspray. Try head and sholders or pantene shampoo they are good. Or put oil in your hair. People always told me that I never did it but when i tryed it it actually works. but if you don't want to that i understand lol... oil is like gross!

Dry hair? Want to dye it soon though, help?

ur pubes?

Dry hair? Want to dye it soon though, help?

Why dont you shampoo your hair all the way? theres vitamins in shampoos that helps your hair, you are depriving your hair. I like panteen pro-v but its good to switch shampoos so theres no wax build up, which panteen does and if you are dying your hair thats not the right shampoo to use anyways. Try an oatmeal based shampoo and conditioner, maybe sometimes if you can get away with it, leave the conditioner in your hair and blowdry it, when you rinse your hair next finish your shower with a cool rinse on your hair to close the cuticles

Dry hair? Want to dye it soon though, help?

For dry hair, you should be using a creamy shampoo as opposed to a gel cleanser. Look for something that says moisturing. Also, use a deep, heavy conditioning treatment. IIn your price range, I would recommend Dove deep conditioner or anything in the John Freida line. Let the conditioner sit in for at least 5 minutes before rinsing and rinse with cool water. Use the conditioner every time you wach your hair.

In regards to a tint, most semi permanent colors that you get done in the salon have moisturizing elements that seal the cuticle and will actually make your hair softer and shinier. If you are working within a price range, I would investigate salons that offer an affordable price. Please avoid coloring it yourself, but if you do steer clear of Feria, as this is a stylists worst nightmare to try to remove. Best of luck!

A generous oil application and massage is recommended before washing the hair. Frequent shampooing is harmful for dry hair. Sometimes lack of nutrients can also cause dry brittle hair. Why do you need to continue shaving between treatments of laser hair removal?

Also, do you still have to shave between treatments as if you didn't even have the laser hair removal?

Why do you need to continue shaving between treatments of laser hair removal?

The laser treatment only kills the follicles that are in the active growing stage. That is why you need more than one treatment, because not all follicles are growing at the same time. The ones that you have to shave between treatments are the ones that have not been killed from previous treatments. You usually have about 2-4 weeks of time after a treatment where there is no growth, because of the growing cycle. The active ones have been killed, and the next group of follicles don't become active for a few weeks. And shaving is the only hair removal method allowed, you are not allowed to use anything that dissolves the hair, such as Nair, or that pulls it out, such as waxing or plucking, because it disrupts the growing cycle. By the way, where you are being treated will determine how many treatments are needed. The chin is the most difficult to treat because it is influenced by hormones. I'm about to call for my 8th treatment.

Why do you need to continue shaving between treatments of laser hair removal?

who told you that? cause i want to get it done and if i have to do that then what is the point? maybe you should call a place that does it and ask them why? and then get back to me so that i know..lol..

Why is my hair breaking off???

I can't believe this is happening to me.........

Around September 2006 I noticed my hair becoming really thin and whispy at the bottom, as if it had been tappered or shaved in even although it was below my shoulders. My hair was layered in at each side of my face and parted to one side so the left side had slightly less hair than the right anyway. It was gradually breaking off from the left to right in lengths of about 3", I got my hair cut shorter and low-lights and it looked really good. I have had my hair dyed blonde and been using straightners for over 10 years. I have always used hair treatments, protective spray and have'nt been harsh at all and I only ever breifly run the straightners through my hair as it is very stright anyway. Today I used a semi-permanent dye to get my hair back to it's original colour and whilst rinsing it out there was loads of strands about 3" again and also tiny ones which looked like a man's hair trimmings. What is going on with me, I'm only 26?

Why is my hair breaking off???

"i have had my hair dyed blonde and been using straightners for over 10 years"

that about sums it up for me.

The other issue is when you hit 25, your hair isnt quite as resilient as it used to be, so you have to treat it with a little more TLC. Stop bleaching and straightening for a while and the length /strength might come back..

edit - yeah having babies puts extra stress too. all the more reason to treat it more gently. eat lots of green leafy veg, vitamin c, protein, it should start to come back

Why is my hair breaking off???

Well, the fact that you are using straighterners for so long along with dyeing the hair did it. Your hair is breaking off due to the damage caused by all the processing. Lay off the flat irons for a while and try not to bleach your hair, it will grow out.

Why is my hair breaking off???

"... been using straightners for over 10 years"

That does explain a lot.

If your hair is breaking off and getting thin, lay off the straightener and the dye for awhile, and go to a professional; if that's not in the question, go to Rite Aid or CVS and look for Emergency Repair, which does wonders, but don't count on it too much.

Why is my hair breaking off???

dieing it too much weakens your hair also straighting it EVERY day is like frying it every day which doesnt sound so good so straighten it less

Why is my hair breaking off???

it could be a number of things.

you should get a check up becaus eyou know how your hair gets when your sick or have your period right? weel it might be a sign

internally... better safe than sorry.

BUT on the other hand it could be too many products have dried your hair out. stop using moose and things that contain alcohol, perfumes.

get "infusium 24" it totally repairs hair and isnt greasy its like water.

watch your diet too. a high protein and good for you fats like nuts are really good for your hair. start takinga multi vitamin too...(centrum silver) its for much older people but makes your hair and nails grow like a weed... also makes you fertile! beware!

youll thank me in your mid 30's if you take some kind of vitamin now...

good luck dont worry and just get a check up . it wouldnt hurt.

Why is my hair breaking off???

Could be lack of vitamins. Are you eating ok?

Why is my hair breaking off???

theres 2 answers straight away to your hair problem!

1st you dye your hair

2nd you use straighteners

With these in mind we all get told the dangers of using these or doing these too often.

Give your hair a break once in a while

Why is my hair breaking off???

Well when you straighting you hair a lot or curling it or and damaging stuff it will break off! i get this advice from my aunt because she is a hair person! so i know a lot about that ! :)

Why is my hair breaking off???

hi there i was always dying my hair blond for around 10 years i was using born blond all the time it ended up stringy and elastic feel to it like you hair was comming out i ended up getting all my dead hair cut off and within a month my hair was healthy and shinny and i havent used a blond dye since i have been using a dye in a burgandy colour from LIVE and what a difference it is not harsh to your hair at all, hope this helps goodluck

Why is my hair breaking off???

I asked my hairdresser the exact same thing! She said it was the straighteners! I use them everyday and my hair is exactly the same. I try to put my hair up in between straightening now and put a heat protector on before straightening, also using the hair dryer to straighten it with a round brush helps a lot. I feel like I'm giving my hair a break and try to only straighten it when I am going on a night out, my hair has definately improved and not breaking nearly as much! Straighteners have a lot to answer for!!!

Why is my hair breaking off???

use Fruit Packs for scalp ---

check the links below for natural homemade beauty tips to:-- Dry hair / Oily hair/ Splitends / Fruit Packs for scalp

http://geebal.blogspot.com/2006/08/natur...

Why is my hair breaking off???

To sum this up.....it's too much, too often, for too long. Some people have strong hair that can withstand a lot of abuse....some are not so lucky and have weaker types of hair. For these people I suggest drawing the line at some point. Choose what you like best for your hair i. e. color or perm or chemical straightener or flat iron.....choose one...but you can't have all. My suggestion is to stop with the flat iron, stop with the chemicals and go to your hairdresser for a good haircut. You have no choice but to give it a rest. In the meantime...no harsh shampoos, lots of deep protein conditioners, comb with a wide toothed comb, and let air dry as often as possible. You cannot undo the damage that has been done but you can stop doing more damage and sooth the hair that you have left. The best of luck to you.

Why is my hair breaking off???

What is the cost of hair treatment in Spore n how much it cost? Will it last...?

Would really appreciate on your recommendations for a good salon....

Need help with hair issues..!!!?

NR rule with oily hair: never use the hair conditioner on the scalp or on the roots of your hair.

Use a shampoo suited to your hair. I use from time to time a colorated shampoo, who has same colour with my hair, because I don't wanna change my color only remove the grease and make it shinny.

Good luck!

I wouldn't spend money on high dollar salons. I just use Sunsilk and my hair is about 17'' long and really thick and wavy. and all I use is sunsilk and it gets rid of the waves and makes it feel 10x's lighter. so just try it and you don't have to pay high dollar it affordable on any budget.

there's different reasons you could be losing your hair...

are you taking any medications?

are you under a lot of stress?

you should take vitamins daily, and believe it or not, Alfalfa - tablet, tea, or tincture form might help naturally. i studied herbs, and i suggested it to my mom once. She noticed a difference after a month or 2.

massage jojoba oil into your scalp before you shampoo, and leave it a few minutes or longer. also brush your scalp/hair everyday. both of these help keep the sebaceous glands open, so the hair follicle can grow.

If you live near Jurong, you can go to Jurong west st 92 blk960. There's a salon called Yi Zi De and the number is 67921697. Rebonding + haircut is $120. I think it includes treatment too. I do my rebonding there and the results are quite good.

About how much does it cost to get laser hair removal treatments on the pubic region?

I live in California (Central Valley).

As some of you may know, I am disabled. Therefore, it is more difficult for me to keep up with hygiene. And so, I have been considering using laser treatments to have my pubic hair removed. I have tried other temporary methods such as hair clippers, and I don't really like those that much because the blade pokes my skin way too much. From what I hear, waxing is even more painful.

To the best of your knowledge, how much would you say it costs for a laser treatment on that particular area of the body? How many follow-up treatments are required? I am Caucasian and don't really tan much. I understand that laser treatments are relatively permanent solutions, but that is okay with me. I hate feeling itchy and sweaty all of the time. Plus, being hairless in that region will be beneficial for me in certain situations anyway. *wink, wink*

Thank you in advance.

About how much does it cost to get laser hair removal treatments on the pubic region?

Hi, I'm currently getting the hair removal by laser done in my privates. It is called a Brazillian. You still have to shave before your treatment, but the difference is that the areas they do treat don't get itchy in the same way. You still get a sun burn type of itch but not as bad as the one you get from shaving alone. Being white with dark hair is best for successful treatments. The darker the hair the better focus the laser gets on the hair and not on your skin. Sex does feel great without hair and the smoothness is great. You do feel cleaner and easier to clean. Depending on how much perspiration you have down there, you may need to apply talc or baby powder during the warmer months or if you have many skin folds if you aren't able to lose weight or exercise (you did mention being disabled)... overall I recommend it, it is painful and costly and time consuming but when you are finished, you feel so much better. Cost depends on where, when, and with whom you get the treatment. Some places offer packages with warranties and others offer a-la-carte options where you can get as many treatments as you like or need. The packages end up being cheaper and sometimes these places offer monthly specials buy one buy the other half price, etc. You will most likely be buying numbing cream depending on your pain tollerance. The numbing cream will not "numb" the pain out completely, it only takes the main sting away; you will still feel like you are getting a tatoo and then your skin will feel like you have a sun burn (the burning sensation goes away in a day or so) and you get to apply after treatment lotion to the area. Consultation is usually free with most places, so go in and talk to them; they should be able to answer most of your questions...and I'm sure you're wondering about getting erections during treatment (even if you're not wondering)....I'll tell you that it happens not because you are turned on during the painful treatment, but sometimes the laser stimulates certain nerve bundles that end up echoing throughout the pelvic region. The nurses are professionals anyways they have seen many peepees in their lives...just don't be creapy about it. Good luck.

About how much does it cost to get laser hair removal treatments on the pubic region?

Why would you want to get rid of your pub it separates the men from the boys. Well unless you have a wild growing bush.

I want to redye my hair pink, but I have some questions..?

Okay, so earlier this summer in June, I dyed a great portion of my hair pink. I used this dye that works best on dark, black hair, and turns it into a bright, fuschia pink color. It worked great at first, but I haven't been using any special colored hair treatment shampoos or anything, so the color kinda faded off into a reddish tint.

So here's my question;

1. If I wanted to make the hair, that I previously died pink but is now reddish, pink again would I have to bleach it and then dye it pink with a regular pink dye?

2. Or could I just dye pink over it again? And if so, would I use the same dye I first used, which was for black hair, or would I use a regular pink dye?

I want to redye my hair pink, but I have some questions..?

i would say that maybe bleaching it is best if you want that really bright color, adding pink on to what you have now, may make it reddish/pink. and if your going to bleach it, i suggest getting a professional, or if your good at it yourself do it. it shouldn't take to long to make it blonde because your hair isnt as dark anymore, you don't necessarily have to make it really blonde, maybe like a y yellow and the pink will come out really good.

I want to redye my hair pink, but I have some questions..?

what brand of hair dye did you use? I want to do the same thing %26amp; also have dark hair. Report It

I want to redye my hair pink, but I have some questions..?

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww u wud look evan uglyerr

I want to redye my hair pink, but I have some questions..?

dont know lol ask ur stylest

I want to redye my hair pink, but I have some questions..?

i think u can still use the old dye and also u dont need to bleach it

Opinions on my hair?

I've been letting my hair grow/keeping it long for about 14 years... This is my natural color and curls, with minimal makeup on... I've never really done anything with my hair treatment wise. I've been thinking on possibly getting highlights and/or cutting my hair some.... I don't know though. Do ya'll think my long hair makes me look older? What would you guess my age to be?

Any suggestions on possible styles that would better suit would be greatly appreciated...

here's my pic

http://s258.photobucket.com/albums/hh259...

Thanks and Cya

Cp

Opinions on my hair?

It's entirely up to you although I think that if you removed some weight, i.e. trimmed about 2 - 4" you would have more fullness and bounce. Long hair leaves you a lot of options; however, also to be considered is face shape and body shape.

I always teach my students that the best conditioner for long hair is frequent trimming of the ends. Your natural curl is beautiful.

Opinions on my hair?

cut it up to your shoulders

Opinions on my hair?

your hair looks great as it is !!

Opinions on my hair?

Yes I think you should get it cut. Curls are gorgeous but for middle aged women I think shorter haircuts look more edgy and make you look more alive / younger. Go to a good stylist and get them to suggest a cut for you. Light blond highlights would look good too. I'd say you're about 40? Hard to tell without a close up of the face though.

Opinions on my hair?

i think its true u might be 25 but u look to be 30 first get those curls out then any hairstyle u like

Opinions on my hair?

Hrmm.. You look nice.

Opinions on my hair?

I would agree that chopping to your shoulders and getting it shaped would be a good idea..maybe get your hair color softened a little bit...light soft brown with high lights or use your own hair color as lowlights

Opinions on my hair?

Dont want to be mean but it does make you look a bit old.

I think that you should still keep it long tho, but add some layers to give it shape. and a side fringe would look good.

Colour wise i think that you should get blonde or copper foils (or you can get both, depends how drastic you want it). Those 2 colours always go well in brown hair no matter what hair style. make sure that when you go to the hairdresser that you tell them to blend them in. (the feral cat look is not in)

Opinions on my hair?

hmmm...I'd say Layers!! Layer your hair and keep the color just probably ad some dark brown streaks. Other than that ...BEAUTIFUL!!!

Does Jojoba Oil help promote faster hair growth?

What are it's benefit in terms of hair treatment? Any advice where I can find it and any other advice in terms of promoting faster hair growth for a guy would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Does Jojoba Oil help promote faster hair growth?

It mimicks the natural sebum your hair produces so it will moisten your hair without weighing down- reducing breakage caused by dryness therefore helping hair to grow. You can get Jojoba oil at any Holistic/Herbal store.

Does Jojoba Oil help promote faster hair growth?

yes it works well by moisturizing your hair and stopping breakage, you can buy pure 100% jojoba oil @ sally's beauty supply...mine was like $6.99/ 8oz bottle~

Does Jojoba Oil help promote faster hair growth?

i don't think it promotes fast hair growth, all you can do is wait. but i do have jojoba oil in my shampoo, it helps reduce frizziness.

good luck%26lt;3

My hair is hard ,dray and damaged .what is the beast conditioner and treatment to make it healthy an

Olive oil, warmed slightly and left on overnight is a real treat for your hair - it will bribg back its lustre and condition. Other people I know swear by mayonaise (!) - because of the olive oil and egg content. Cheap and effective.

My hair is hard ,dray and damaged .what is the beast conditioner and treatment to make it healthy and butty?

my hair used to be really dry and damaged from bleaching it. i tried all sorts of shampoos and conditioners. my favorite one was Aussie Moist shampoo and conditioner, along with every few days i'd use Aussie 3 minute miracle. made my hair soft again :)

My hair is hard ,dray and damaged .what is the beast conditioner and treatment to make it healthy and butty?

wash it with beer and let it be there in 20 minutes then rinse it well

promise i'm not kidding!

try it! so you'll believe me!

My hair is hard ,dray and damaged .what is the beast conditioner and treatment to make it healthy and butty?

I would start over by shaving my head. After that, use a mild shampoo and nothing else. It's all the treatments women do that damage hair. You don't see men with damaged hair, do you?

My hair is hard ,dray and damaged .what is the beast conditioner and treatment to make it healthy and butty?

Try using a deep conditioner treatment you can use once a week. Purchase it at a beauty supply store and don't use anything that has protein in it! If your hair is thick and dosen't get weighed down easily try Bumble and Bumble deeep conditioner- LOVE IT!

My hair is hard ,dray and damaged .what is the beast conditioner and treatment to make it healthy and butty?

first u have to look for the causes and solve them for example when u wash ur hair don't use too much shampoo and always take good care of ur food specially olive oil and spicy food. On the other hand, I think u should use CLINIQUE products. Good luck Lala.

My hair is hard ,dray and damaged .what is the beast conditioner and treatment to make it healthy and butty?

I dyed my hair for at least 6 yrs straight.and then frayed it with a perm.Oh my goodness my hair was falling out.it was so bad.and it was so stiff it wouldn't even sway in the wind.I let it grow out some without dying it.I got hot oil treatments.when it got a little longer i cut the dead fried parts out.(which i am really sry but dead things don't grow for long.you have to cut it out as soon as you can.even if it is a gradual thing) then after i got some of it cut out.I started using the nuetrogena to wash and condition it.using deep moisturizing creme on it 3 nights a week.then i switched to that new dove therapy.weird lookin blue bottle.and now my hair looks beautiful.but remember.you have to gradually cut the damaged parts out of Ur hair.and keep switching shampoos.using one shampoo and conditioner constantly will only leave build up in your hair and possibly create more damage.

My hair is hard ,dray and damaged .what is the beast conditioner and treatment to make it healthy and butty?

my hair is very oily 2 days ke baad oily ho jaate hai kabhi kabhi lices ho jate hai summers mein aur likhe bhi and bahut halke hai please tell me something for this .

My hair is hard ,dray and damaged .what is the beast conditioner and treatment to make it healthy and butty?

Don't laugh and I promise I am not joking, but mayonnaise. My hair used to be so dry and brittle and my ends would break. I read in a glamour magazine that if you wash your hair put mayo in it, rinse and condition, it would give you healthy shiny hair. At first I was embarrassed and even afraid to try it. Now I swear by it!! I do it once a month and in the summer I do it two to three times a month. Good Luck!

P.S. Dove Shampoo and Conditioner is great too!

My hair is hard ,dray and damaged .what is the beast conditioner and treatment to make it healthy and butty?

I use REDKEN All Soft Conditioner and love it! It's a little pricier than supermarket products but well worth it!And whatever you do, DON'T BLEACH YOUR HAIR!! First of all, it's not even "in" anymore and secondly, there is nothing more cruel that you can do to hair.I don't you if you do but if you do, stop immediately

I'm losing hair real fast, is there a remedy or treatment that actually works?

I'm a Asian male in my early 40's in good health, but has been losing hair over the last 3 years. There's a big patch appearing on the top and , forehead is getting higher. Hair strands are getting thinner thus losing volume alarmingly.

I'm losing hair real fast, is there a remedy or treatment that actually works?

Nioxin is a professional product that works, i have not used it myself but go to your sylist and they can help you out. Sometimes balding is irreversible (aside from implants)... its called allopecia... its hereditary... sorry =\

I'm losing hair real fast, is there a remedy or treatment that actually works?

well, you could try one of those hair loss treatments but though im a girl i loose alot of hair each time i run my fingers thru it..though mines thick, but i would ay if the hair-loss treatment(which you can probly find in a drug store or order from tv)ask a doctor if all else fails

I'm losing hair real fast, is there a remedy or treatment that actually works?

i would go to a salonist or try calling your friends and get their advise....I got nothing!sorry!

:)

Is there any specific medicine or treatment which can make a bald man get back natural hair?

Avodart, some shampoos can help stimulate growth, and hair transplant procedures. There's a discussion forum in the link below that talks about all different types of options and will provide you with a lot more info than anyone could list here.

FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall a lot? Don't worry, you're not alone. Millions of people from all around the world suffer from dry, brittle and weak hair. Some of the possible reasons for falling hair are:

Tension

Too much work

Illness

Poor diet

Over-exposure to the sun

Perming

Amateur bleaching

Too frequent and inexpert use of tints, rinses or other colourants

Here is what you can do to prevent hair fall

Shampoo regularly. Remember, a CLEAN scalp is a HEALTHY SCALP.

Brahmi amla oil also promotes hair growth.

A high protein diet with plenty of fruits, green vegetables and dairy products is a must.

Drink 10-12 glass of water everyday.

Use a very mild shampoo and condition your hair at least twice a week. When you do, make sure you rinse out the conditioner thoroughly, otherwise residue build-up will cause your hair to look limp and dull.

Know your vitamins! IRON is important for healthy hair and brittle, limp hair indicates an iron deficiency. Spinach has a good iron content, so gulp it down!

ZINC helps prevent hair loss and greying. Eat adequate zinc rich foods. Overweight people tend to have zinc deficiency, which is inversely related to the body mass index. Thus if you are overweight and if your hair falls too much, you may want to increase your intake of zinc containing foods. Recipes containing stone ground, wholegrain flour are rich in zinc.

A shortfall in VITAMIN B may cause dandruff, falling hair, loss of colour and could encourage grey hair. So B group Vitamins are essential for gloss, colour and thickness.

VITAMIN C ensures the health of capillaries supplying blood to hair follicles. Make sure your diet includes plenty of fresh fruits and veggies.

VITAMIN E encourages hair growth. Switch from refined flours to wholemeal and wheatgerm, eggs, vegetable oil.

COPPER stops hair from falling. Studies show that the copper content in the blood serum of people with falling hair is less than normal. Different types of alopecia (falling hair) are seen to have a deficiency of this important trace element. Include small quantities of nuts, especially cashews and peanuts, seeds, whole milk and beans in your diet as these contain minute but important amounts of copper.

Homemade remedies for preventing hair fall:

Apply almond oil on scalp and massage.

Grind fenugreek seeds in water and apply on your scalp. Wash off after 40 minutes. Do this every morning for a month 闅哣 if it suits you! Remember, different treatments suit different types of hair.

Massage warm castor oil + almond oil into your scalp gently. Wrap a hot towel around your scalp so it gets absorbed into the hair. Do this twice a week for healthy, shiny hair.

Add 2-3 drops of honey to a glass of water and use this as the last rinse after shampooing.

Quick Hair Care Conditioner

Mix 1 egg, 2 tbs castor oil, 1 tsp vinegar and 1 tsp glycerine. Beat until frothy and massage lightly into your scalp. Wrap your head in a hot towel, steam, then wash off. This conditioner makes hair thicker, shiny, soft and manageable.

Honey Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs (depending on the length of the hair), 1 tsp honey and 2 tsp olive oil. Massage gently into the scalp. Steam, and shampoo after an hour.

Alcohol Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs with 2 tsp brandy. Massage into your scalp. Leave for 10-15 mins. Rinse well. The egg nourishes your hair and brandy stimulates hair growth.

Your hair is a vital beauty asset, requiring constant loving care. And with a little nurturing, lush, glossy hair will be yours

ESSENTIALS FOR FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall often Arm yourself with these tools to combat hair fall.

Wide-toothed comb

Get yourself a wide-toothed comb. This is probably one of the most important yet underutilized of all hair tools. A wide-toothed comb helps you distribute conditioner evenly all over your hair while shampooing and conditioning. In addition, it also helps get rid of knots smoothly.

The best time to get rid of knots is during conditioning. Apply conditioner and run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair.

While untangling dry hair, do so in sections. Take one section at a time, and first, untangle the ends of your hair. Do so slowly, and don?t pull unless you want your hair to fall out in clumps or break.

Don?t wait for the last minute before detangling your hair. Every night, while sitting in front of the television, run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair, until you have untangled it completely. Do this every night, and you will notice that your hair remains free from tangles.

Leave-in conditioner

Dry hair tends to tangle easily, and, needless to say, causes it to break. Make sure your hair is never devoid of moisture by always keeping a bottle of leave-in conditioner handy. The next time you feel your hair is dry and rough to the touch, simply rub a dollop of leave-in conditioner between your palms, and apply it to your hair. Comb through with your wide toothed comb. Your hair will be instantly rejuvenated and moisturized. Gradually, the texture will also improve. This is a must if you blow dry your hair regularly, or if it is chemically treated. Such hair constantly craves moisture, so get yourself a bottle of leave-in conditioner.

Oil

Olive, almond and coconut oils are all excellent for the hair. While you could apply oil as an alternative to leave-in conditioner, oil tends to make your hair sticky, and you cannot style your hair well after applying oil. Your only alternative would then be to tie up your hair. For better results with oil, apply just a few drops immediately after washing your hair, when your hair is still dripping wet. Oil doesn?t penetrate the strands as easily as leave-in conditioner does though. Nothing beats a hot oil massage followed by a steam treatment, as the steam helps the oil penetrate the hair strands, strengthening them and curtailing hair fall.

Egg

Egg is great for the hair ? there are no two ways about it! True, it causes a tremendous stink in the bathroom, and your hair may let off an ?eggy? smell, but the results are instantaneous and worth it! Egg strengthens your hair almost immediately, and the egg yolk leaves your hair shining. Whip an egg with two tablespoons of olive oil and apply it to your hair. Wash off after half an hour. Make sure you wash off with cold water though, or the egg will start cooking in your hair, and would be harder to take off! Use a scented shampoo to counter the smell of egg in your hair, and follow up with a leave-in conditioner. Do this for a month, and you will be amazed by the change in your hair texture and the reduction in hair fall.
