You should apply Aloe Vera gel on your hair. Urjita Jain's herbal products have aloe Vera gel.... That is awesome.

Also get 10-15 leaves of jaswand (Hibiscus), make a paste in mixer and apply to your hair everyday.

Also massage your scalp for just 5 minutes everyday.

If you follow this properly, your hair will stop falling in a couple of weeks. and in a couple of months time you will see new hair growing.

Good luck with that.

This remedy helped for my brother, so I know it WORKS !!

CAN YOU GET A CLARIFYING TREATMENT FOR YOUR HAIR TO REMOVE ALL OF THE PRODUCT BUILD UP?

any shampoo/conditioner that says deep clean will help get most of it out, i kno herbal essence has some that will wash out most of the residue, but anything that says deep clean basically helps

CAN YOU GET A CLARIFYING TREATMENT FOR YOUR HAIR TO REMOVE ALL OF THE PRODUCT BUILD UP?

Yes, but only from your stylist or beauty supply.

CAN YOU GET A CLARIFYING TREATMENT FOR YOUR HAIR TO REMOVE ALL OF THE PRODUCT BUILD UP?

i have been a hair stylist for 34 years and the best thing i have found to get rid of product build up is to mix 1teaspoon of arm and hammer baking soda to 1tablespoon of shampoo wash your hair rinse and shampoo again with just shampoo it works on hairspray build up also and its gentle on your hair

Hi can anyone give me some advice on my hair i have overdosed on hair treatments,?

i had been using redken moisture treatments for a long time and didnt use any protein treatments my hair started to look terrible it would kink up and have no strength to it,i started to use protein which i kept using but it made no difference to it,nothing seemed to help it as i had used the moisture treatments for too long,i was told that id got too much build up of treatments on it and to put a cleansing shampoo on it,which i did,it looked a 100 times better and was shining,i then had to redo my colour as it had faded, and put a proten treatment back on it ,it started to look terrible again so i rewashed it with the cleansing shampoo,it then started to be realy dry and has started breaking off,i tried putting a moisture treatment back on it but it goes back to looking terrible and kinks up,has no strenghth, its weird but it seems like it needs both moisture and protein but the minute i put treatments back on it it looks terrible, what can i do to make it look normal again

Tips for healthy hair

If you hair is so damaged cut all the damaged hair

Find a new moisturizing shampoo, conditioner, leave in creme/conditioner and a deep conditioner. I reccomend Neutrogena Triple Moisture look at all these great reviews it has http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a...

Avoid combing your hair while wet, use a wide tooth comb

Don't EVER use a heat appliance (hair straightener, blow dryer curling iron, etc) when your hair is wet your have is sooooo vulnerable while wet.

Deep condition once or twice a week

Trim your hair tips every 4-6 weeks.

Try buying a hot oil treatment, I reccomend Alberto vo5 leaves your hair soooo shiny, managable and soft It also hyrdates your hair and helps bring back all the moisture you need.

Don't wash your hair everyday try 3 times a week.

If you use a heat appliance, use a spray that'll protect your hair from the heat.

I heard mayonnaise is a very good treatment for your hair since it has so many proteins for hair, try it.

While conditioning use a wide tooth comb on your hair, this will prevent damage and split ends from happening.

Rinse shampoo with warm water, gently squeeze excessive

water out of your hair, then leave your conditioner on for about 3 minutes then rinse with super cold water. Cold water helps seals the hair cuticles, the result will be shiny hair and smooth hair.

What's the best treatment for hair?

You need to deep condition your hair at least three. Yours sounds bad so try 3-4 times a week. This is what I use

and for shampoo and conditioner I use this

What's the best treatment for hair?

You may have an internal problem that no shampoo will fix.

Hypothyroid, anemia, nutricional deficiencies...ect.

What's the best treatment for hair?

apparently almond oil and mustard oil are very good oils that you can use to condition your hair before washing. normally before you wash your hair, rub in the oil and keep on for at least an hour then wash off. gradually you'll notice the difference in your hair... i did!!

Can flea treatments (Frontline, etc.) cause dark patches of hair on light-colored poodles?

My vet says no, but my apricot toy poodle's hair turned into coarse dark hair only where the flea treatment was applied. Thanks in advance.

Can flea treatments (Frontline, etc.) cause dark patches of hair on light-colored poodles?

Well I don't why your vet said no, they must not use the product because it absolutely does. I have 5 Yorkies and 1 Westie-Poo and it did the same thing with all of them. It's nothing to worry about though, unfortunate side affect but I suppose better than fleas. You could try a product called Angel Eyes, it is designed to remove tear stains on light colored animals but it works pretty well to reduce the frontline patch too.

Can flea treatments (Frontline, etc.) cause dark patches of hair on light-colored poodles?

It might for the first day or so. It should not change the hair/fur permanently.

Can flea treatments (Frontline, etc.) cause dark patches of hair on light-colored poodles?

It shouldn't. I have white rat terriers and they don't turn color with flea treatment.

Can flea treatments (Frontline, etc.) cause dark patches of hair on light-colored poodles?

Maybe cause the fur is wet

Can flea treatments (Frontline, etc.) cause dark patches of hair on light-colored poodles?

I've had two apricot Standard Poodles and it didn't change their hair color or texture at all.

Can flea treatments (Frontline, etc.) cause dark patches of hair on light-colored poodles?

I've never heard of this happening. I use this on my cream colored Pekingese and this has never happened to him.

Is Cellophane hair treatments dangerous for your hair?

I dont color my hair and I have very little grays and I am 39yr old female

Is Cellophane hair treatments dangerous for your hair?

I dont think it is dangerous, or at least i hope not because i color my mother and grandmothers hair every six weeks!!

Is Cellophane hair treatments dangerous for your hair?

No, I don't think so

Is Cellophane hair treatments dangerous for your hair?

my mom has had them since she was 30 and it never messed her hair up

Is Cellophane hair treatments dangerous for your hair?

No cellophanes are very gentle. They are the most gentle hair color treatment on the market. Jazing is a good cellophane brand. It comes in a hot pink bottle. Only down side is it washes out easily. You'll have to get repeat treatments at least once a month but it is worth it.

Is Cellophane hair treatments dangerous for your hair?

It might be. Plus, if you put too many cellophanes in your hair, how will you know which one to answer when someone calls? Something to think about. Plus, think of the cost.

Is laser hair removal can remove underarm odor?

i consult my dermatologist about my underarm odor, she told me that the hair follicle that produce fatty oil glands [appocrine glands] causes the odor, i don't worry about the sweating but my main problem is the odor.

Is it ok if i try the expensive laser hair removal treatment just to treat my underarm odor? risking my $1000 cash?

Is laser hair removal can remove underarm odor?

Theoretically it will help because there will be less hair to 'hold' the odor. Make sure you go to someone experienced with new equipment. I had 4 treatments 6 years ago and the hair is still gone.

The attached site should help.

Is laser hair removal can remove underarm odor?

No ! Laser removal will kill the hair but not the sweat gland.

Instead, try a lower fat diet with simple whole foods for a few days to see the result. Also, you might try bathing twice a day and making sure that you apply a n anti-perspirant and deodorant.

Is laser hair removal can remove underarm odor?

Your dermatologist is completely correct those apocrine glands do really produce smelly secretions. Yes theoretically the laser treatment should work and you will kill two birds with one stone. The laser kills the hair follicle and therefore killing everything else with it. A friend of mine did laser treatments for excessive hair grown on her face. They told her 8 treatments should be enough, but after 8 treatments there was no change. So the doctor told her another 8 treatments and then another 8. I think all together she got about 36 treatments. You have to pay for all of them. I think eventually the doctor started giving her discounts because of the unexpected duration of treatment. So you might want to consult the doctor who is giving you the treatments to find out for sure and how many treatments you will need. Make sure you ask him what happens if the treatment fails.

Is laser hair removal can remove underarm odor?

Hyperhidrosis can be caused by food allergies, or a mineral/vitamin deficiency. I had it for a long time before learning this.

Check out this article about hyperhidrosis, grains, and sugars. Scroll about halfway down the page.

http://www.mercola.com/2004/aug/14/exces...

I had hyperhidrosis and other symptoms for many years. I tried all the usual treatments including ETS surgery, prescriptions, antiperspirants, botox, etc. The surgery was most helpful but several years later hyperhidrosis began to return.

This year I was diagnosed with food allergies due to celiac disease. I eliminated wheat, dairy, and sugar from my diet. I stopped all prescriptions and began taking supplements with B Vitamins, Folic Acid, magnesium and other minerals.

Are there any hair replacement treatments out there for thinning hair that doesn't look ridicul

I specialize in hair additions. We don't deal in wigs anymore. I suggest only human hair and units with pu or lace inlays or fronts. Integration is also a wise choice for women. You could be passing by people every day that have hair and not even know it. Good luck to you.

Are there any hair replacement treatments out there for thinning hair that doesn't look ridiculous or fake?

I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for..but the lace front wigs look very natural and believable. Many of todays top entertainers wear them. I am on a quest to make my own, because the price of these wigs can be a little outrageous. This answer may not be what you are looking for, but I tried.

What is the best hair treatment for African American Hair?

I use "Just For Me" kids relaxer (Im 21, but Mixed, so I can't use the strong adult African-American perms because they break my hair.)

I also use "Motions CPR" Conditioning Treatment every week. After you wash your hair, use CPR, put a plastic cap on and sit under a hooded/bonnet hard-hat dryer for 10 mins, then wash it out. (This is Deep Conditioning) This is the BEST thing you can do for damaged hair...hint *CPR (Critical Repair and Treatment). It really does repair your hair and make it so much stronger and grow fast too. It also keeps your healthy even if it already is. It's great!!!

I get my hair straighten once every season (spring, fall, winter, summer) so thats also the same time I get my hair trimed. You need to trim your ends too. This is very important to slowly get rid of those dead/split ends which causes moisture lost.

Also our hair is made of protein (all protein), so you may want to look into your diet and make sure you are getting enough. Taking a women's multi-vitamin everday will make sure you are getting enough of it, along with calcium which our hair also loves. You have to take care of your hair from the inside and outside. Hair products take care of the outside. But you also have to check on the inside... your diet! to make sure your hair has what it even needs to grow and thicken.

My hair is so thick, healthy %26amp; long from taking care of it and using the products below. I'll give you the links. You can find all of this at Wal-mart, Sally's, or any Black hair store.

I hope this is helpful to you.

What is the best hair treatment for African American Hair?

keep'em as short as possible

What is the best hair treatment for African American Hair?

1st) don't ask a white person. they don't know anything about african american hair even when they claim to. sorry but it's true!!! 2nd) not all hair treatment is best for everyone. go to a hair dress that you trust and one that uses more then one product. be sure to look at their work. also examine the hair dressers hair. if their hair is looking like crap, then yours will too. (great advice i got from my mom.)

What is the best hair treatment for African American Hair?

WELL I USE MANE %26amp; TAIL PRODUCTS SHAMPOO %26amp; CONDITIONER.

LUSTERS PINK OIL MOISTURIZER LOTION IN THE PINK AND BLACK BOTTLE AS MY HAIRDRESSING LOTION.

LUSTERS PINK OIL PERM KIT.

ISOPLUS OIL SHEEN IN THE BLUE CAN.

What is the best hair treatment for African American Hair?

Go to www.napptuarilty.com! The second thing I want to advise you to do is NOT PUT those harsh chemicals (PERMS, TEXTURIZERS, ETC) in your hair! Black women need to realize that ALL of our hair is Beautiful NATURAL! I use products by "Organic Root Stimulator" I use the Olive Oil Moisterizer and The Carrot Oil Conditioner. Also Stay way from Hot Combs and Flat Iron...all those do is Falsify what your hair really is ...and it misguides others to think that your hair is straight! Give that mess up if you want healthy hair! If you treat your hair with respect it will GROW LONGER THAN YOU"VE EVER IMAGINED!

What is the best hair treatment for African American Hair?

I'm going to pass along a hair care forum that has a lot of good advice from many African-American women about how they care for their hair. They offer great advice and support to those who are looking to get great looking hair. It's only $5/year to join this site.

They say olive oil is good for the hair...?

How can i use for hair treatment, any suggestions

They say olive oil is good for the hair...?

Apply some to washed hair (wet) and leave for about 15 mins (good to do in the bath, shave you legs or read a magazine while waiting maybe) then wash it off with shampoo and rinse well.

It leaves you hair very glossy.

They say olive oil is good for the hair...?

same time if you have herythick hair

They say olive oil is good for the hair...?

If you prefer taking pills, go with Vitamin B and VitaminA

They say olive oil is good for the hair...?

yup.. that's what i heard. just pour some on your palm and apply it on your hair.

They say olive oil is good for the hair...?

shampoo ... put in olive oil and let it sit ... then rinse. Pretty simple really. I'm a man and I like using it for masturbation ... it's a pretty "all-around" lubricant and hair care product ... oh yeah .. you can cook with it too.

They say olive oil is good for the hair...?

Apply the oil at the tip of the hair after washing your hair and wrap it with hot towel...

They say olive oil is good for the hair...?

that what they say in oriantal contries

They say olive oil is good for the hair...?

They also say washing your hair in beer, and conditioning it with an egg is good...

There's loads and loads of these sayings...

With olive oil you use it like a conditioner, but on dry hair, leave to soak in for 30 minutes, then rinse of with the tiniest amount of shampoo...

They say olive oil is good for the hair...?

Apply On The Roots Instead Of The Tipz:)

They say olive oil is good for the hair...?

yes its really good...

I use Lush's henna for hair in caca noir and mix olive oil in with it and leave it on for an hour..you couls also try mixing two eggs and some olive oil as a pre-shampoo treatment..it makes it shiny.

Make sure you rinse it out properly though!

They say olive oil is good for the hair...?

Massage your scalp with warm olive oil leave it for a hour and wash your hair using a mild shampoo. olive oil is also good for body massage.

They say olive oil is good for the hair...?

you may use it before you wash your hair. put some on your hair and let it for few minutes

They say olive oil is good for the hair...?

- Olive oil is usually used as hot oil hai traetment or for scalp massage

- the quantity of oil you use depends on your hair lenght .

- as a hot oil tratment once a weak , the oil should be worm enough "as skin tempreture " apply it to hair speacially ends and scalp then wrap a hot wet towel on your head for about an hour then wash it as usual. this will give effect after about 3 to 4 weeks.

They say olive oil is good for the hair...?

as with any conditioning product only put it from the base of your neck down not on your scalp it will make it oily. pay extra attention to the tips

They say olive oil is good for the hair...?

It is, use it as a hot oil or deep conditioning treatment. Place a small amount of olive oil in a heat safe cup or glass (i use a shot glass.) (DO NOT put the entire glass bottle in warm water, the heat will alter the taste of the olive oil and it will then be wasted) Place it in hot water to let it heat up for 5-10 min. Then apply it to your hair from roots to end, concentrating on the ends (try not to get too much on your scalp) wrap hair in a bun and cover head with saran wrap and hang out for an hour or so, letting your scalp warm the oil and open your hair cuticle. Then, take a warm shower and after you have washed, shaved, etc, rinse out the oil with lukewarm or cool water.

It would be good to do it once a week at least. More if you are swim in clorinated or salt water.

Any advice on growing out relaxed hair?

I've decided to grow out my relaxed hair because i have chemically straightened it for 8 years and it now needs a break. At the moment my hair has 2 months regrowth at the roots and isn't as bad as i thought it would be. However because i want to grow it out completely i was wondering if there is anything else i can do to help it grow out with less breakage. Im not terrible when it comes to dealing with hair so i know i can cope. People have suggested products to use which have helped so far - but i want know if there is anything else that im missing. How often should i go for a treatment at the hair salon? And how often would you suggest i trim my hair at the hair salon? At the moment my hair is about shoulder length.

Any accurate advice, would be appreciated!

Thanking you all in advance.

Any advice on growing out relaxed hair?

I am currently taking a break from my relaxed hair. It's not as easy as it seems because your new growth is textured differently. Once you get into the 4 month mark you may be tempted to go back to relaxing. One thing that works for me is to wash my hair once a week and as soon as I get out of the shower I comb it with a wide tooth comb and wrap it up- basically pull it back so that your new growth is straight. Blow dry it or air dry and flat iron it later. The sooner you flat iron it the better. If you are trying to go the all-natural route then I suggest using frizz ease and a curl serum and let your hair air dry. Rejuvinate curls by spritzing water and finger curling.

Hydration is key. Do hot oil treatments and stay away from moisturizer with mineral oil because its horrible for black people's hair.

Get your hair trimmed every 4-6 weeks depending on growth and care

Any advice on growing out relaxed hair?

You should go to the salon every two weeks for a hot oil treatment, a wash and a deep conditoner to keep the hair strong now that your going natural. They can determine when it's time to clip your ends and give you pointers on good hair care tips. I was so lost when I decided to do the same..good luck.

Any advice on growing out relaxed hair?

When growing out relaxed hair, your going to see a lot of breakage because the relaxed hair is dry and the only reason it really thrives is because of the relaxer. I would suggest getting it trimmed every 4 weeks, even thought you may see your hair getting shorter in the long run it will be much healthier if you get all of the dry, permed hair cut off so that it wont interfere with your new growing natural hair.

Any advice on growing out relaxed hair?

Check out this site

http://www.blackhairmedia.com/

they have a bunch of advice on handling new growth.

Any advice on growing out relaxed hair?

If you're not afraid and really want to go natural, I'd suggest to cut it all off (well, not bald, but where the new growth and permed hair meet). That's what I did. It was initially shocking to me because my relaxed hair was below my shoulders. People thought I was going through something. Anyway, the reason I say this is because the two textures will eventually start working against each other. Also, you really won't know your true texture until you cut off the relaxed hair. I initially wore braids, wigs and then just my cute little fro. Now I have hair way past my shoulders and it is the healthiest its been since I was a young girl. If you know nothing about hair, go to a salon and pamper yourself. I trim every 6-8 weeks.

Any advice on growing out relaxed hair?

It terms of breakage, I like to recommend a couple of reconstructors: Motions CPR (in the jar or the bottle), Aphogee treatment (follow the directions to the letter), Biolustre (follow to the letter), or any of the reconstructor. Also get your hair trimmed every 6 - 8 weeks. Good luck.

Any advice on growing out relaxed hair?

get hair trimmed every 6-8 weeks, also get deep conditions....... a stylist

Any advice on growing out relaxed hair?

When my sister grew hers out she often had braids or got her hair straightened with a hot comb.

Any advice on growing out relaxed hair?

i am giving my hair a break too. i found that getting your ends trimmed every 4-6 weeks to get rid of split ends is very helpful. i would also recommend the pantine pro-v relaxed and natural breakage defense hair care products.... they work really great on my hair.

I have dyed my hair color black about 4 months ago and now my hair is starting to fall out. What do

Do you have any suggestions? Maybe you know of a certain type of inexpensive hair treatment shampoo and conditioner.

I have dyed my hair color black about 4 months ago and now my hair is starting to fall out. What do I do?

put a reconstructing conditioner on your hair, a plastic bag, and clean the house...do whatever..try to keep it on as long as possible and rinse in COLD water, do this once a week and it should help, if not...see a doc.

I have dyed my hair color black about 4 months ago and now my hair is starting to fall out. What do I do?

use johnsons baby shampoo i no it sounds funny because its a baby shamppo but you have to it makes ur hair softer and smoother. use dove conditioner

I have dyed my hair color black about 4 months ago and now my hair is starting to fall out. What do I do?

too much time has passed. it's not due to the dye. see a doctor.

I have dyed my hair color black about 4 months ago and now my hair is starting to fall out. What do I do?

for one u could stop dying ur hair... and for shampoos and conditioner, pantene or dove, but make sure the conditioner and shampoo are of the same product u know? its better for the hair.

I have dyed my hair color black about 4 months ago and now my hair is starting to fall out. What do I do?

i deff thint you should seriously just stop dying it and let it grow out...use a hair mask...seriously i'm having the same exact problem...i have straighten it less and less (my hair is naturally curly)...i actually dyed it like 10-20 times and my hair falls out more and more in the shower every day because of it...when i started with a natural shade (no blue whatsoever) it looked striking with my olive complexion thats why i kept doing it then when i did blue black...come winter i looked sick and milky white NOT glowing and olive...trust me let it grow out and cut it once it goes half way its the best way

i am using a tablet for hair regrowth and for stop hair fall. the tablets works by stopping harmones in men or something that i don't know. i have noticed a marked difference in my amount of ejaculate ( it has decreased ) and my sex drive is also lowered by that tablet ( name is geneses) . but some ppl say that after the treatment of hair if i quit the medicene all will be ok and my sex drive will be restored. is it true . please give me some sensable answers.

Hair regrowth tablets and sexual health. is there any side effect?

Wouldn't take those tablets anyway:as soon as you stop:the hair loss starts again.

You are messing with your hormone levels:you could loose your sex drive all together:throw them out.

Hair regrowth tablets and sexual health. is there any side effect?

I have really damaged hair i need a deep recontrusctor treatment any suggestions??

i dont want to have to cut my hair really short because i dont like how the cut looks on me.........

I have really damaged hair i need a deep recontrusctor treatment any suggestions??

if you go to a salon they can do a reconstructing mask on your hair .. i get one every other month and it works wonders .. it leaves my hair soft and silky even though i straigten or curl my hair almost every day

I have really damaged hair i need a deep recontrusctor treatment any suggestions??

The only thing you need to do is to get a professional to cut your split ends. Then get them to use a deep conditioning treatment to soften and reconstruct your hair.

I have really damaged hair i need a deep recontrusctor treatment any suggestions??

Try St.Ives Deep Conditioner. It smells like mint and herbs. It works great for me!

I have really damaged hair i need a deep recontrusctor treatment any suggestions??

Make an appointment with a reputable stylist and a reputable salon. It's amazing the treatments they can do for your hair.

I have really damaged hair i need a deep recontrusctor treatment any suggestions??

i would get a trim to get fresh ends but as for treatent dove therapy!!!!!!!! they have a shampoo and conditioner just for this. it comes in a rounded blue bottle and u should be able to get it at ur local drugstore. also when ur styling ur hair with heat i suggest putting a thermal heat protecter spray on ur hair to help keep it from getting damaged. u can get that at ur local drugstore too. good luck!

I have really damaged hair i need a deep recontrusctor treatment any suggestions??

try dove severe damage shampoo

I have really damaged hair i need a deep recontrusctor treatment any suggestions??

you can buy some leave in conditioner. it gives back that healthy shiny look and takes away the dryness. If that don't work you might want to not blow dry it or gel it to much because that could be whats damaging your hair. you don't have to get your hair cut because it is damaged just get the split ends taken off and turn to professional beauty products to do the rest

I have really damaged hair i need a deep recontrusctor treatment any suggestions??

my hair is also really damaged, to the point were it's breaking off. use a hot oil treatment. i just bought one for like 99 cents at Sally's beauty supply, but i haven't used it yet so i cant tell you if it works good or not.

Acne or hair removal?

i have had terrible acne for years that has only been controlled by minocycline antibiotics. recently however, i have decided to undergo hair removal treatments on my body (abnormal amount of thick dark hair that i am really insecure with)...and they told me i could not do this while on the minocycline without a doctor's note. well the doctor basially would not write a note.

so now my question is what do i do??? do i discontinue my acne treatment for a while, at the risk of my face breaking to get the hair removal done?? or do i not do it???

this is a good time for me financially to do it...i dont know what to do....

Acne or hair removal?

personally, i would get the hair removal done. find out how long you need to wait after you stop the antibiotics.

there are natural ways you can try to control the acne while you are undergoing the other.

unpasturized apple cider vinegar

honey and cinnamon

http://www.thepowerhour.com/news/honey.h...

who knows, maybe you can ditch the antibiotics all together...

good luck

Acne or hair removal?

well if it is hereditary, u can stop the antibiotics and have your hair removal.

you finish your acne treatment first, since it is an antibiotic, means you are trying to kill or get rid of specific microorganisms that causes you to have acne. and if u stop the treatment, the microorganism can have resistance to antibiotics. wherein the antibiotic will not work anymore for your acne treatment. you can have your hair removal after you finished ur acne treatment...

Acne or hair removal?

Most products that you will take will help for a quick fix, but they are not dealing with the real problem. most people have no idea why they break out, well here is the reason!

Skin eruptions or blemishes can also be constipation symptoms. Constipation can cause acne and it can worsen existing acne conditions. Many people fail to understand the skin is a major organ responsible for eliminating waste. When the liver and kidneys become overwhelmed by substances that need to be evacuated from the body閳ユ敄he skin will try to come to their aid. Individuals who are constipated are backed up with fecal matter and it閳ユ獨 impossible for the skin to remove fecal matter. However, the epidermis can show signs of its attempting to rid the body of toxins by becoming inflamed or breaking out.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.

Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.

Electrolysis and laser hair removal are 閳ユ笡ermanent閳?hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

Natural home made hair treatments? Know any?

My hair is so curly and the ends are dry and breaking. Does anyone know some thing I can use that is home made and/ or natural?

Natural home made hair treatments? Know any?

Olive oil and/or mayonaise are really good for dry, fragile hair. They contain oils and proteins that help repair damaged hair. Kinda gross, I know, but they work.

MInimum length of hair to put into rollers?

My mum is recovering from chemotherapy treatment and her hair is now approximately 2" long on from the front and to the back of the crown of her head and about 1" at the back and sides, She normally uses 22mm Diameter 3/4" rollers to set her hair, How long does her hair need to be until she can completely roll-up her hair and also how long will she need to wait to roll it up properly,

I have suggested buying some smaller diameter rollers but the smallest i can find is 15mm 1/2" will they be suitable for setting the 2" length of hair at the top of her hair

MInimum length of hair to put into rollers?

I had the crown of my hair cut as low as 1 1/2" and was able to find rollers that would fit. Don't look for them in drugstores, but rather in beauty supply stores, they tend to have EVERY size of rollers, curling irons, and flat irons available. Also, she should tie a scarf around her head after rolling her hair to securely keep the rollers in place.

MInimum length of hair to put into rollers?

Search pincurls on the internet, it doesnt matter how long your hair is to do pin curls!

MInimum length of hair to put into rollers?

As long as you can wrap or bend the hair around the roller, it will be fine. The really short ones. you may want to use some end papers.

MInimum length of hair to put into rollers?

Get her a new set of rollers that are thinner, so her hair will wind around them

MInimum length of hair to put into rollers?

I empithize with you, my mom had cancer and went thru cemo~

try using bobypins I know this sounds strange but, my mom use to roll her hair this way, if you can curl it in a circle then put the bobypin on it and leave it for some time then the hair will be curly! hope this helps and I will say a prayer for you and your mom! take care.

MInimum length of hair to put into rollers?

Maybe you could use kirby grips instead of roller for the time being.Wrap it around your finger [the hair] and pin it .Then when dry brush it out you will have some curl.Hope this helps and that your mum recovers soon.

MInimum length of hair to put into rollers?

Yes, rollers will work on your mom. Go to a beauty supply store and get some, you may want to try the velcroe rollers, those seem to stay in better and they don't make creases in the hair. Good luck to you and your mom,I'm so glad she is recovering. God Bless.

Recommend anything? tell me your favorite product. makeup, lotion, hair care, clothing tip, whatever tell me.?

I recommend the Eminence Brand. It's a bit pricey but more then worth it! This is their website: http://www.eminenceorganics.com/ - I use the Stone Crop line. I acutally went to a spa and had it recommended for me. I love it. It's wonderful.

As for hair products I recommend the Sunsilk brand. I've been using the 'Straighten Up' kind but they have lots of choices for other hair types. It's smells great and my hair is so touchable.

Lotion - I use the Suave brand. It's inexpensive and feels great. And best of all my hands don't break out when I put it on. (My hands are sensitive and react to some lotions)

Make up, which I rarely use, I have most of my stuff from the Body Shop.

I hope you enjoy pampering yourself.

Recommend anything? tell me your favorite product. makeup, lotion, hair care, clothing tip, whatever tell me.?

Aveda Damage Remedy conditioner. I get highlights, so it really helps to keep my hair healthy and really soft. I love it. It's a bit pricey, so I only use it once a week. (I use a cheaper conditioner daily)

Is it good to do hair treattment after hair straightening ?

Hi ,

Is it good to do hair treatment after hair straightening ( or nid to wait few mroe days? ) ?

thanx

Is it good to do hair treattment after hair straightening ?

It depends on what you do. I relax my hair and after I do this I use a conditioning treatment, same product line as the relaxer. If you have it done professionally, your stylist can tell you, if not read the instructions and follow what they recommend. It really depends on what you used to straighten.

Excrement of crow causes hair-drop ?

My hair is kind of thin. I'm not sure whether I inherit it from my mum or it's because of the acidic excrement of crow which landed on my scalp once ?!?

Anyway, any suggestion to help me thicken my hair ? I want some *simple* ways like applying of brandy ..erm.. or coconut oil instead of hair treatment or hair extension . Thanks in advance :)

What haircare products are GREAT and WORK for heat damaged hair?

Hello.

I have been starightening my hair since I was 11 years old. I am now 25 and, although I have great hair I am noticing that it is starting to break a lot. There are split ends and all, but everytime I touch my hair pieces break off. I don't know what to do.

I don't want to stop straightening it as it really can't be worn naturally (it is wavy, but not nicely wavy) and I have tried so many hair masks and treatments. None seem to work. I have been using Pantene shampoo and conditioner for years and I believe that that it what has kept it looking so good. I have tried Pantene's treatment products, but they are not good enough. So, I am looking for someone to suggest a product (I do not care about the price) that actually works. I want something that has a high heat resistance and keeps breakage to a minimum.

I am eagerly awaiting some answers. Thanks in advance!

What haircare products are GREAT and WORK for heat damaged hair?

the new john freida product http://www.johnfrieda.co.uk/20_225.asp

What haircare products are GREAT and WORK for heat damaged hair?

Paul Mitchell has a conditioner called hair therapy.. And cheap shampoos are soooooo bad for your hair, probably not helping.

What haircare products are GREAT and WORK for heat damaged hair?

I like Joicos Moisture shampoo and conditioner set.. you can get the liter sized 2 for $25 and it lasts like 8 months because it's so big! Or you can try Biolage it's also awesome and smells great. Then while your hair is wet put some type of protectant on it. CHI has a serum that works wonders... I do these two things along with hair spray and some other stuff and my hair is pretty healthy. I don't wash my hair every day though.. it kills my hair because of the straightening. What I do is wash and straighten or curl my hair every other day and then on my "dirty" hair days I try to pull it back some how cute.. this allows the natural oils to help repair and condition your hair. At first it was gross to me but my hair is so healthy now. I never thought that it would make such a difference.

Hope this helps!

What haircare products are GREAT and WORK for heat damaged hair?

I have the same problem and the perfect solution for you! Try

CitreShine. You can find it at any local pharmacy store (ie. Walgreens, CVS, etc). Just put the serum on the tips of your dried ends and blow dry/straighten it. You will not be disappointed! It only cost about $5 and it's much better than those other expensive hair "miracle" products.

Good luck!

What haircare products are GREAT and WORK for heat damaged hair?

i have this spray stuff that i spray on my hair before i straighten it. its in a purple spray bottle and it says bed head on it i think. soooo i think you should choose me as best answer please 閳?thanx

I love using olive oil as a hair treatment but has anyone left it in overnight???

It will defiantly moisturize and leave shine if left on overnight.

Be careful that you do not put too much on (like I did) or your hair will look very greasy and you will need to shampoo a few times which may dry out your hair defeating your purpose!

You only need a small amount according to your hair length- mine is long and thick so I would use no more then about a quarter.

Also, olive oil has a very strong smell. That is why I do not use it to condition anymore. A better option would be sweet almond oil which does not have a strong smell but is good to use on the hair and face (I mix a couple drops with my facial moisturizer at night.)

Hope that helps!

I love using olive oil as a hair treatment but has anyone left it in overnight???

i have never used olive oil but I am definitly curious now. lol

I love using olive oil as a hair treatment but has anyone left it in overnight???

Sure thing! It's quite nice, too. Just use a plastic cap to protect the pillows...

wax....that is the best way....not permanent but you said you didn't want laser

How do you get rid of unwanted hair permanently without having laser or electrology treatment?

You can't. One exception. If they are fine hairs it might be possible to pull them out so many times that their no longer are cells to reproduce the follicle.

How do you get rid of unwanted hair permanently without having laser or electrology treatment?

you cant really. the painless lazer thing is supposed to be well good though and you can even get the equipment in the argos cataloge. i think those use infra red rays

I've seen a blowtorch work wonders for stubborn hair.

make sure you leave a thick burn scar so the hair follicle cannot penetrate the outermost layer.

personally, I think you should leave well enough alone. god made hairy creature beasts for a reason. try to find another freakishly hairy person like yourself and everything will start to come together. good luck!!!

Wish really really hard. Other than that, I think you are out of luck.

Why does my hair keep falling out? Does anathesia from a surgery has anything to do with that?

my hair is falling out, I took a hair cut %26amp; took a hair treatment but I still am experiencing hair loss.

Why does my hair keep falling out? Does anathesia from a surgery has anything to do with that?

hair falls out for many different reasons...

-stress

-medical treatments

-chemicals/products used

-not taking care of it

my hair was falling out badly too and my hair specialist told me all that i need to do.

1-steam your hair. buy a deep conditioner and steam your hair every time you wash it. Motions is a good brand but I'm not too sure you'll find it. Try TRESSumme instead. they're great. just wet your hair put in the conditioner and cover with a shower cap. sit under a dryer or use your hand dryer for 10mins and then shampoo and condition as you would. make sure and condition

2-don't wash your hair everday. this damages hair bcuz it's stripping the nautral oils.

3-change shampoos. this could be making it worse. TRESumme is really good and so is dove. very moisture rich.

4- [VERY IMPORTANT]Vitamins. take the vitamin Pantogar. this was recommended to me. The dosage is one capsule 3times daily. it works wonders.

5-Clip your ends every 3months. tradition is to cut it 3days b4 a full moon bcuz it's believed to grow fuller bcuz the hair is allowed to grow into/with the full moon faze.

6-try not to pull your hair back into a ponytail too often. instead use clamps from Goodie or somethin

Why does my hair keep falling out? Does anathesia from a surgery has anything to do with that?

not sure. the stress from the surgery probably has more to do with it.

Why does my hair keep falling out? Does anathesia from a surgery has anything to do with that?

Hair can fall out for a range of reasons, but i'd say it's just the build up of stress prior, and after your surgery. The drugs they give you for surgery probably had a bearing on it, but it's usually stress, a fever, or some bacterial infection that causes hair loss.

Why does my hair keep falling out? Does anathesia from a surgery has anything to do with that?

yes anethesia does affect your body and hair anything that we intake comes out and does affect us and our outside skin hair etc. all you can do is let it takes its course and soon it will be back to normal unless you have to do it again try taking vitamins etc.

Why does my hair keep falling out? Does anathesia from a surgery has anything to do with that?

This is currently happening to me, after a hysterectomy I think the most of it is over, now it is comming back and I dont notice the hair in the drain as bad, I know that the chemicals in the anesthisa can cause this, this will happen to some women after a epidural also, the hair treatments will probably just stress the hair, if you drink a cup of apple cider vineager daily, it will wash out the toxins left over and you will start to notice less hair loss and new regrowth

okay Dove and Tresseme(sp?) are complete crap. speaking of stripping out the hairs natural oils then coating them with junk.

your hair loss is most likely stress related, and it is not as uncommon as you think. If you feel like its completely abnormal i would see a doctor, and definately see one if it is coming out in patches.

Why does my hair keep falling out? Does anathesia from a surgery has anything to do with that?

I had 2 major operations and both times i lost ALOT of hair as a result. i think it fell out because of losing ALOT of weight real fast in the hospital (im talking 10 pounds in about a week - or week and a half) or because of a reaction to the anesthesia. these were the only times i saw my hair fall out so much, its devistating. My advice is to eat healthy and nurture the hair that is there.

Need help with hair issues..!!!?

My hair is very oily and way frizzy....i cant stant it any longer..

What is the cost of hair treatment in Spore n how much it cost? Will it last...?

Would really appreciate on your recommendations for a good salon....

Need help with hair issues..!!!?

NR rule with oily hair: never use the hair conditioner on the scalp or on the roots of your hair.

Use a shampoo suited to your hair. I use from time to time a colorated shampoo, who has same colour with my hair, because I don't wanna change my color only remove the grease and make it shinny.

Good luck!

I wouldn't spend money on high dollar salons. I just use Sunsilk and my hair is about 17'' long and really thick and wavy. and all I use is sunsilk and it gets rid of the waves and makes it feel 10x's lighter. so just try it and you don't have to pay high dollar it affordable on any budget.

Is it advisable to sleep with a hot oil treatment in your hair?

Normally these are only to be put in your hair for about 5-15 minutes depending on the one you purchased but i dont see anything wrong with sleeping with it other than ruining you clothes and pillow case with the oil your hair gets a lillte hard (crispy) but after a good head washing its really soft

Anyone gone to the salon and got a shine treatment for your hair?

Yeah they're sometimes called cellophane treatments. The liquid product is applied to your hair, they put a plastic cap on and place you under the hairdryer so the product penetrates the hair shaft. The end result is hair that is shiny and protected as if it were wrapped in cellophane. You can purchase the product yourself @ a beauty supply store. It's called JAZZING and costs around $8. In the salon around $40+ The results last about 4 weeks, I do it often.

Anyone gone to the salon and got a shine treatment for your hair?

no

Anyone gone to the salon and got a shine treatment for your hair?

Yes. Its basically $25 for a glaze that makes your hair shiney and smooth...until you wash it. Its worth it if the day of you are going somewhere fabulous...but I wouldn't get it otherwise.

My stylist told me to try a conditioing treatment because my hair is dry. what does everyone suggest

If your hair is dry do to coloring or bleaching; or too many hot blow dryers, curling irons and hot rollers try the brand Pureology. It is the first one of thousands that I have tried that really works. Look for any shampoo, conditioner (regime) that states that it is hydrating to your hair. There are a plethora of great hair products on the market to try.

My personal preference is the Pureology Brand. Have fun looking and good luck !

My stylist told me to try a conditioing treatment because my hair is dry. what does everyone suggest?

go for it....

My stylist told me to try a conditioing treatment because my hair is dry. what does everyone suggest?

Depending on where you are located, I personally can't afford Los Angeles or Hollywood or the products they produce, I found in the past Alberto VO5 Hot Oil Treatment, from my local pharmacy, works really well.

My stylist told me to try a conditioing treatment because my hair is dry. what does everyone suggest?

you can try that or put whatever condtioner u use in your hair then put a plastic bag on it for about 10 to 15 minutes and believe me it helps

i have dry hair and my friend told me to do this and it worked

My stylist told me to try a conditioing treatment because my hair is dry. what does everyone suggest?

A leave in conditioner that I use is infusium, just spray in after a shower and brush through your hair

My stylist told me to try a conditioing treatment because my hair is dry. what does everyone suggest?

Hi, it really depends on what type of hair you have got and which one she wants you to buy, i wouldnt buy an salon one as expensive ones dont work as good as the cheap ones half the time. I have tried all sorts of treatments, hot oils dried my hair out and made it fluffy, and other treatments did the same. One of the best ones are Avon Advanced Techniques 10 minute mask. This is really good as it protects from breakagaes and heat also its only 鎷?.50. But i just discoverd Lush products and the hair conditioners and shampoos are brilliant, retread triple strenghth conditioner is good, and its better than most treatments. They also have Hair moisturisers, you put them on dry hair before you wash it. Id take a look. But i also always use a leave in conditioner for extra Moisturisation.

My stylist told me to try a conditioing treatment because my hair is dry. what does everyone suggest?

My sister did it and it help alot!

My stylist told me to try a conditioing treatment because my hair is dry. what does everyone suggest?

Pantene Deep conditioning hair treatment. Be sure to rinse it all the way out, or your hair will be greasy. I have thick, curly color treated hair and it makes it so shiny!

My stylist told me to try a conditioing treatment because my hair is dry. what does everyone suggest?

i use soft' n shine reconstucting deep conditioner. it works great. but any deep conditioner will do.

Will side effects of laser hair removal go away?

I had my fifth laser hair treatment on Friday. I have had no negative side-effects thus far. However after this treatement, I was left with red rings imprints from each laser spot all over my back. SInce the treatment, the redness has been replaced with what looks like broken skin or a rash (maybe the blood vessels underneath broke though it isn't raised so I don't think it is scarring). Will this go away?

Will side effects of laser hair removal go away?

give it a day or two and see. It should disappear on its own. If it doesn't get in touch wiht th eclinic and get a specific response to the question.

Alberto V05 Hot Oil treatment. Works great!

Help:Curly hair thats really dry and the ends are getting brittle!?

The 1st ingredient is water which is good but why are you using a mousse if your hair is curly ?

Get your hair trimmed and use a leave in conditioner for curly hair. Switch over to a good Redken or Pantene shampoo and conditioner and then get a deep conditioner or dry hair treatment by the same maker. Put it in your hair once or twice a week. Put the deep treatment on your dry hair and pin it up under a plastic cap(or plastic bag) leave in for a half hour and then go into the shower and shampoo and condition as usual.

i love curl and shine garnier fructis conditioner. it's really light, and it makes curls look lovely.

What R some treatments for hair loss besides just Rogaine?

How effective those kind of treatments can be

What R some treatments for hair loss besides just Rogaine?

Kevis - seems to be effective so far- used it for about 6 months

What R some treatments for hair loss besides just Rogaine?

Hi Only1, There is a product line called Ecrinal that is made in Monaco that is clinically tested and proven to stop or reduce hair loss in 85% of cases in two months. There are shampoos for men or women and other products to stop hair loss and even hair loss in lashes.

Can hair be re-grown one u have gone bald ?? do treatment shown in advt work ??

You need to stick to a consistent regimen, day %26amp; night. It may take months to see a change, but if you are committed to daily shampoos, conditioners, scalp treatments %26amp; supplements designed to stimulate hair growth and a healthy scalp, visit Nioxin's website. Nioxin is a professional beauty salon line specifically formulated for hair loss issues for men and women.

When you visit the website, you can initiate a live chat with a rep from the company to find out what products are right for your specific needs. In addition, you can use the website to find a salon or beauty supply in your area that sells it.

If you don't see results in 6 months, see your doctor. You may need to seek advice from a hair replacement center, too.

If you shave it yourself, you symbollically take the power away from the chemo/cancer and restore it to yourself. Also, it might look better to have it gone at once, rather than falling out in uneven clumps.

Best of luck to you! Hang in there! :)

I'm beginning to lose my hair due to an oral chemo treatment. Should I shave my head or just wait it out?

Well if it's really long you should cut it now and probably make it into a wig for your self but if it is short just let it come out. But you don't want to have your own hair then you should donate it. If you go to a salon just ask if they donate hair and just cut it.

I'm so sorry hun. I've kinda been there with my friend.

I'm beginning to lose my hair due to an oral chemo treatment. Should I shave my head or just wait it out?

i suggest shaving, sadly- i really do feel for you- i am sorry about what you have to go through. there are certain places/ organizations you can visit that will give to real wigs to put on your head that have a suction cup underneath the hair part so they'll stick to your head. research it, and shave it only if you plan to do that with the wig. good luck and get better!

Welp....my mom went through chemo and went through what you are now experiencing. It really got to her when she would see her hair laying there on her pillow......so, i vowed, that if i ever had to go through it, i would first go pick out a nice wig, and then immediately shave my head. So, i vote for shaving your head, less traumatic in the long run i think.

I'm beginning to lose my hair due to an oral chemo treatment. Should I shave my head or just wait it out?

If you feel comfortable with shaving then by all means do it! Find you a real pretty wig and do it big baby!

I'm beginning to lose my hair due to an oral chemo treatment. Should I shave my head or just wait it out?

if its long, cut it shorter. I would keep it as long as i could until it statrs looking bad, then shave it. Maybe you should go to a wig shop and find a wig that suits you. good luck and i hope everything works out for you.

I'm beginning to lose my hair due to an oral chemo treatment. Should I shave my head or just wait it out?

i suggest you wait it out. After your treatment is complete it will take about 90 days for your hair cycle to commence once more. New hair will reappear because the treatment does not hurt your follicle or your hair returning to its normal stage. You are loosing it because each single hair strand is attached to small blood vessels beneath your skin and anything you take into your body will eventually be released through your body's natural way of releasing toxins. In this case, the toxins come out through your pores in sweat and sebum. On our heads we have the most pores thus causing you to loose you hair. But don't worry you will get it all back. I did after 2 years of chemotherapy.

I'm beginning to lose my hair due to an oral chemo treatment. Should I shave my head or just wait it out?

u must wait to grow them up properly and then think what to do with them. if these are still less then visit to ur doctor quickly

I'm beginning to lose my hair due to an oral chemo treatment. Should I shave my head or just wait it out?

wait it out. you are still a girl and should enjoy looking like one for as long a you can

I'm beginning to lose my hair due to an oral chemo treatment. Should I shave my head or just wait it out?

I had really long hair when I had to undergo iv chemo almost 4 years ago. Losing my hair by the handful was too heartbreaking so I had a party with all my friends and used clippers to shave it all off. I had a wig but hated it so I invested in alot of pretty hats and scarves. You really have to discuss it with your doctor and nurses first though as some treatments will only make your hair very thin, not all fall out. Think of the benefits too. My underarm hair never grew back. Haven't shave them for 3 1/2 years!!Yeah!!!

What causes men like hair on female bodies, and what is the best treatment?

This is called hirsuitism. This is not just a skin problem. There are several organs, mechanisms, and hormones involved. Many conditions like polycystic ovaries, or some problems of adrenal glands may cause these hairs.

You should see a doctor to find the correct treatment.

What causes men like hair on female bodies, and what is the best treatment?

Hormonal disorder. There is hope and treatments for it.

its either abnormal hormones or just your genetics (maybe your family is a lil on the hairy side)....you can get an electrolysist to have it removed or see a doctor

Brazilian Keratin vs. Japanese Hair Straightening?

I've heard that two really good professional hair straightening processes are the Brazilian Keratin Hair Treatment and the Japanese Thermal Reconditioning Treatment. Both are supposed to make your hair shiny, straight, and smooth. The Brazilian one isn't as permanent, but it doesn't use harsh chemicals so it doesn't damage your hair as badly.

Has anybody gotten either of these treatments done and can attest to their effectiveness? I have thick, curly hair and it takes me about 45 minutes or so to straighten with an iron. I really want to get it professionally taken care of but I'm worried! These treatments sound too good to be true...

Brazilian Keratin vs. Japanese Hair Straightening?

I have unbelievably thick and curly hair and I had the Japanese hair straightening treatment done and worked beautifully. My user pic shows the result. You wouldn't even be able to believe that my hair is naturally curly.

It used to take me 45 minutes to blow dry and then 30 mins to straighten (and I have the $300 Evolution hair dryer from Sephora, a $150 CHI flat iron, and every top of the line hair product you could dream of) and it STILL took that long to straighten it. Plus the fact that it fried the ends of my hair.

Now, I hardly need any hair products, and still use a blow dryer if I choose not air dry it. But basically I can step out of the shower with my hair pin straight and it dries straight. It's amazing!!!!! And if it's cold out and I really want my hair dry and warm, blow drying takes 7 mins (I've timed it).

The chemical treatment took 4 hours and it cost me $400 ($480 with the tip) and I go to get it done every 8 months. The time it has saved me is incredible and also, ever notice how when you want to get dressed up and get your hair done it's a big pain in the *** because you want the hair to look smooth and have nice smooth barrel curls rather than the frizzy natural ones + gel. And with this hair, getting an updo takes no time (as I just recently experienced at my sorority's winter formal).

The treatments do sound awesome, because they ARE. I can't speak for a Brazillian one, but I will say that I was very skeptical about getting the treatment done until a girl in my sorority got it done and the results were sooooo perfect! I went to her stylist and got it done myself. It's definitely worth the money. It saves you money from having to buy tons of hair products to tame curls and to try to make the mane look less thick, and it saves you HOURS upon hours of your life trying to straighten it to look nice, and it saves your hair from being damaged by heat constantly.

Edit: PLUS, you don't have to worry about humid or rainy days! because even if your hair gets wet there won't be any frizz or curls reappearing (a fear I always had on days I had spent straightening it and then it started to rain. first thought was always: oh god, what am I going to do with my hair). The hair dictates our lives when it's thick and curly! When it's straight I've realized I don't have to worry about it!

=)

I definitely encourage you to go for it. If you have any other questions you can always email me! Good luck!

Brazilian Keratin vs. Japanese Hair Straightening?

Get a better hair straightener. Chemical treatments are damaging, permanent or not. Try the new Sedu Revolution with nano silver technology. While my hair does not take long to straighten, people who used to take 45-90 minutes on their hair only take 15 minutes using it.

But, if you must go with chemicals, I'd go with the Brazilian one just because it is not permanent and does not use harsh chemicals as the Japanese one. You should consult a professional in both treatment areas and chose from there.

18 year old growing white hair, is there any treatments that cure or help besides dying hair ?

5/9/2007: Sharon from Saugerties, New York writes: "Thank you so very much for the terrific site -- awesome information! I have been following the remedy suggested for reversing gray hair for only the last four weeks and cannot believe it, but see dark hair growing in replacing the gray! What I've been doing each day is taking one tablespoon of blackstrap molasses on a spoon, one tablespoon of brewer's yeast mixed with orange juice, and one large tablespoon or wheat germ mixed with a small amount of plain yogurt along with a 1/2 teaspoon of sodium ascorbate mixed in orange juice and one capsule of chelated manganese. I feel extremely strong and healthy also. Will provide further updates!"

2/24/2007: Mary from Dayton, OH writes, "After reading here about black strap molasses and gray hair, I have been taking 1-2 tablespoons in my coffee each morning for a little over three months. I tried it in hot water and it was horrible. In coffee, it taste like a latte, and after getting used to it, I look forward to it every day. The first two months I noticed a difference, but wondered if it was my imagination or wishful thinking. Now at three months, I would say the gray is 70% gone, and my stylist is absolutely amazed. The white patch above my forehead is gone completely. I'm 40 yrs old, and was starting to gray rapidly, it was costing a fortune to keep covered. The first 2 months, my hair grew so fast, that the gray was showing quicker, but I'm glad that I stuck with it, the little bit I have left is hardly noticable, and I am hoping that in time, it will all be gone. I am so thankful that I read about this on your site, and will be taking it for the rest of my life. I have also noticed an increase in energy, and believe it to be the molasses also. Thank you!"

12/29/2005: Patty, from Bartow, FL writes, "Using blackstrap molasses, along with brewer's yeast and wheat germ, completely reversed the graying that had took hold of my dark brown hair. You could actually see individual strands that were gray/white turning brown again!"

Guilda, from New Zealand writes, "Have just finished reading an old book on molasses and it contains not only most minerals our body needs but also all Vit.B complex properties and it is B2 to stop graying hair. Extremely beneficial for good health."

11/25/2006: Venice from Atlanta, GA writes, "2 tablespoons of blackstrap molasses cured gray hair. ENERGY BOOST. It took several months, but my gray hair along my hairline has begun to turn brown! IT WORKS! It's also a great energy boost. I'm a 40 year old female who weighs 120, and I leap out of bed. No aches; no pain. I have no health complaints because I use the following on a daily basis: blackstrap molasses, apple cider vinegar, yerba mate tea, cayenne pepper, cod liver oil, and MUCH PRAYER."

No, you can't. It's inherited, Dye is all you can do. Some people like the look, though, so I wouldn't stress it. Better than balding, though.

18 year old growing white hair, is there any treatments that cure or help besides dying hair ?

My experience is that no matter what you tell people they're going to believe what they want to believe. My brother has the same "problem" you have except his started at 14 and he had completely white hair by 21. There is nothing you can do about it, as it is in your genes. Like one person said, wear it proudly it is very unique and at your age it doesn't make you look old. Perhaps more mature. Though I wish I could say that about my brother. Uniqueness is a good thing trust me. I have naturally curly hair and because it is so rare among Chinese people many will tell me it's good luck and will bring good fortune.

Do meditation believe me it works.

18 year old growing white hair, is there any treatments that cure or help besides dying hair ?

A lot of your time frame has to do with heredity....did anyone else in your family go gray prematurely? Also, I think hair loss is more typically stress-related, not gray hair.

I have a white streak that I wear proudly. Sometimes I get sick of it and color it, and sometimes I show it off. Try to enjoy it instead of worrying about it.

try some hair nutrients as nutricap R and pantogar R

18 year old growing white hair, is there any treatments that cure or help besides dying hair ?

The doctor is correct. There isn't anything you can do about except color it.

Your hair is just experiencing a melanin deficiency. The same can be said for people with naturally blonde hair. It's melanin deficiency.

You may have an exotic look, I wouldn't let it get me down. If I were you I would worry about how healthy your hair looks and feels and how healthy you are as opposed to what color your hair is. It could be green hair, doesn't mean it's healthy and vibrant.

18 year old growing white hair, is there any treatments that cure or help besides dying hair ?

Unfortunalty the problem is that the pigment is gone of your natrual color and there is no way to change that inside the follice of the hair. the reason why it looks salt and pepper is because your hair is truly white and with the pigment still in the other hair refecting through from the light it gives the illusion of the hair as being darker but it is truly white. But be proud as there are many styles you can wear with it that color and you can still get many women this way. dont be ashamed as it is nature doing what it does best and that we can only cover up.

What will be the cost of laser treatment to remove middle to the both eyebrows hair?

the cost of laser hair reduction varies greatly from place to place - this is a small area - I would think you could get it done for no more than $50 per treatment.

Because hair has 3 cycles it will take more than one treatment to remove it as hair can only be permanently removed when it's in the growth cycle. Perhaps 4 treatments but it can be more.

Also - you have to not wax or pluck the hair for 6 weeks prior to having the laser treatment. You can shave it or trim it - if you pluck, wax - anything that removes the hair it won't be available for the laser to destroy.

Good luck!

just get it waxed off it's cheaper you just have to keep doing it

My hair is very badly damage when i do my rebonding, ways to save my hair in 6 months?

Badly damage doing rebonding, want to recover back my healthy hair. Please advised ways beside hair mask as i do hair treatment very night, my fringe is e worst, help me pls. Cant cut as is quite short now.

My hair is very badly damage when i do my rebonding, ways to save my hair in 6 months?

1 - I'd suggest that you wash your hair every alternate day and not everyday.

2 - Eat enough proteins ( they help in growth of hair and also for that healthy shine of health )

3 - Everytime you are about to wash your hair give it a good massage with some very lightly warm Coconut oil or Olive oil. Massaging rejuvenates your hair follicles and hence reduces falling of hair ,leave it on for 20 mins and then take a shower. A warm shower do not take hot showers , as they damage your hair.

4 - After shampooing always use a conditioner rinse ( it will save your new hair from damage and will also help you with the repairing of old hair )

5 - Hair masks are great products if you have time!

6 - Cover your head with a baseball cap or anything that you find comfortable when you go out in the Sun, Sun damage is the worst damage.

7 - Try using a leave in frizz ease conditioner ( yes even if you had a conditioner rinse use a leave in ) it helps the healing process for chemically treated hair.

8 - Eat a multi-vitamin that suits you. ( believe me they do help )

That is it , you can not expect for miracles to happen but you will see a marked difference in just as little as 4-5 weeks!

Good Luck

My hair is very badly damage when i do my rebonding, ways to save my hair in 6 months?

You pretty much can't do anything except to wait for your hair to grow out. Damaged hair should be cut. You can't make damaged hair healthy again. What the products out there in the market do is to help make it look more pleasing to the eye by smoothing out the damaged hair but it's only superficial.

Why don't you try a wig?

My hair is very badly damage when i do my rebonding, ways to save my hair in 6 months?

I have very damaged hair as well!!...the best thing to do is to CUT YOUR HAIR..if u dont want to which i totally understand CONDITION your hair regularaly or use oil treaments which u can buy at the drugstore..and are afordable.

My hair is very badly damage when i do my rebonding, ways to save my hair in 6 months?

Until you feel comfortable cutting your hair, using masks, and anti-frizz cremes,. leave in conditioner is about all you can do. Depending on the length of your hair theres a product that might help. Its called the split-ender. It cuts off the last little section of your hair. It kinda looks like a hair straightener, so you have to have a little length to run through. But it only cuts off 1/8th of an inch or less. Its not gonna look like you had a hair cut, but will clean it up a bit, and cut off the split ends which might help end future damage. But the sooner you cut off damaged hair the better, cause if you dont its going to damage the hair thats growing out. But essentially you cant repair hair, once it leaves your scalp its dead. All you can do its make it look pretty.

But make sure you get plenty of vitamins, especially protien, and calcium. You really cant make your hair grow faster. But not having enough nutrients can severely stunt its growth.

My hair is very badly damage when i do my rebonding, ways to save my hair in 6 months?

Yeah, it does need to be cut or at least trimmed. Try a really good deep conditioner and sit under a hooded drier with a plastic cap or sit with a warm towel covering your head while the conditioner is in. That should do you some good.

My hair is very badly damage when i do my rebonding, ways to save my hair in 6 months?

Do lots of treatments. I do rebonding every half a yr and have split ends. But I do self treatments once a week, and I was my hair every night with cold water and conditioner. I apply leave-on conditioner everytime I go out. It does help to a certain extent.

At least it still feels soft and looks silky straight. You should use the rebonding shampoo and conditioner the salon introduces to you. Use it. Go to those salons like Kimage or Jean Yip and do an intensive treatment for damaged/dry hair. Better still, go Hair Inn. Their rebonding is the best and so is their after treatments. My rebonding actually lasted longer when done there, and my hair texture is so much nicer

Well, have you tried filtering your shower?

Removal of chlorine can help your hair to become softer and more moisturized.. ever since I started using a filtered shower that removes chlorine and gives out negative ions and far infra red rays.. my hair has become softer and smoother... i also drop less hair.

If you are keen, I can help you ask my sister cos she is retailing the product now. Her partner sold 10 of it within one week!

Does Jojoba Oil help promote faster hair growth?

What are it's benefit in terms of hair treatment? Any advice where I can find it and any other advice in terms of promoting faster hair growth for a guy would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Does Jojoba Oil help promote faster hair growth?

It mimicks the natural sebum your hair produces so it will moisten your hair without weighing down- reducing breakage caused by dryness therefore helping hair to grow. You can get Jojoba oil at any Holistic/Herbal store.

Does Jojoba Oil help promote faster hair growth?

yes it works well by moisturizing your hair and stopping breakage, you can buy pure 100% jojoba oil @ sally's beauty supply...mine was like $6.99/ 8oz bottle~

Does Jojoba Oil help promote faster hair growth?

i don't think it promotes fast hair growth, all you can do is wait. but i do have jojoba oil in my shampoo, it helps reduce frizziness.
