Is it advisable to sleep with a hot oil treatment in your hair?

Normally these are only to be put in your hair for about 5-15 minutes depending on the one you purchased but i dont see anything wrong with sleeping with it other than ruining you clothes and pillow case with the oil your hair gets a lillte hard (crispy) but after a good head washing its really soft
