What can I do to remedy thinning hair?

I'm a 26-year-old woman and recently I've noticed that my hair has been thinning a bit. I'm not sure why. At my last haircut the hairdresser pointed it out and made a comment about humidity being bad for hair. (I recently moved to Houston from Chicago.) I'm not sure if she was implying that it might be the cause of it. I've heard prenatal vitamins can help, so I purchased the whole foods brand and have been taking a 1/2 pill a day. Is there any sort of shampoo, conditioner, or hair treatment that can help? Thanks!

Visit Nioxin's website. It's a professional salon line of shampoos, conditioners, scalp treatments and supplements specifically formulated to stimulate hair growth and maintain a healthy scalp for men %26amp; women.

Their website offers a live chat option in which you can chat with a rep from the company for a personalized recommendation of what regimine would be best for your hair. Your hairdresser can buy Nioxin for you. If she cannot, the Nioxin website will provide you with info on beauty salons or beauty supplies in your area that carry it.

In addition, I am including another link that outlines all the vitamins you can take, and explains exactly what each one does to benefit your hair, skin %26amp; nails.
