Should I cut my long black hair? (- -,)?

I tried a short hair before but that was 5-6 years ago.

Now I'm getting tired of it--- I mean I have to maintain my straight, long black hair (bra line length) trim it every month, hot oil treatment, hair spa, straightening, %26amp; so much more.... %26amp; It's getting a bit expensive just to maintain it. I told my beau that I'm planning to cut it short, or maybe try some highlights but he kinda disagree.

Please do give me some nice suggestions.

To cut it short?

or just keep my hair long but try some highlights (hair color)?

Keep it, I have the same hair, and when I cut it I couldn't get it back, I think it is exotic.. try a long layer or color!

Bobs are great! Give it a try. My bf loves my little chin-length bob. Of course, I make him keep his hair long so I have something to play with!

An 45 degree, A-symmetrical, A-line bob, like Victoria Beckham's or Jenny McCarthy's is just adorable! really short or cropped in the back and longer in the front.

You do however have to have the face for it.

If you have a double chin, make sure it covers it from the profile.

I have really long hair too and when I get tired of it that's what I do too.

It still maintains the illusion of length without all the fuss and muss. But you will still have to blow it and straighten it just not as much hair to have to do. It makes it look healthier and thicker too.

when I was little I always loved long straight raven color hair, keep it, it looks great.

Just keep it long. More men prefer girls with lovely long straight hair.
