Shine treatments for hair?

I dyed my hair about four months ago, and for the first two months it was really shiny and healthy looking. The color is fading now because it was a semi permanent dye, and the shine is fading too. I was wondering if there was any way I could get that shine back without dying my hair again.

*I got my hair dyed professionally, not out of a box or anything, if that makes a difference, and I wouldn't mind going back to the salon for the shine thing either. But anyway that works is appreciated.

okay, i got this in a beauty magazine,

use 1/2 cup honey

2 tablespoons to 1/4 cup olive oil

squeeze of lemon

1 quart warm water

shampoo your hair then pour this all over your hair, let it air dry and don't rinse out the mixture.

1. Use shampoo and moisturizer made for dyed hair like Tresemme, or any other major brand out there.

2. Clairol (I think), has a hair glaze out that is like a silicone coating on your hair to give it shine and add a bit more colour in. It's a shine glaze thing that the salons do, but for cheap.

3. Moisturize your hair really well once a week with a deep hot oil treatment.
