the whole line of the olive oil products....trust me it works as an african-american i have dun everything from africa n back to ma hair....i should of been bald by now! for example you know how they say dont comb, scratch, or braid your hair a week b4 a relaxer? well i did all the above and added a relaxer the next day (olive oil) dosent burn or damage...and my hair is sitting past my shoulders now.!

Hyperpigmentation after laser hair removal. HELP?

I have PIHP after I had hair removal treatment done. The place where I got it done used an IPL laser and burned almost my entire back. I'm going a to a doctor and getting IPL PIHP removal but no improvement. I am also using aloe vera, hydroquonine, and licorice extract to help but still very very little improvement. If anyone knows how I can remove these scars, I would be eternally greatful. I am very desperate b/c i'm getting married this year. PLEASE help.

it is good in removing hyperpigmented areas, it may take few months to improve though.

I would say 30 min and wrap your hair up in a towel or a plastic cap. You can also add a egg to the mayo, that works good too. Also theres a good line from Pantene called VIVE PRO and it works in about 5 min and no cooking utensils required

I'm not sure, but I wouldn't use mayonnaise at all. There are plenty of satisfactory deep conditioners on the market. I don't see the need to put mayo in the hair.

30 minutes would be ok but you can do it up to a hour but make usre you rinse it out properly. when i use to do mayo treatments to my hair i would after leaving in the mayo treatment i would rinse my hair well then put in conditioner to help get out anything else and( conditioner helps keep in the moisture) this would get all of it without getting rid of the benefits of the mayo treatment.

u cant speed up the growth rate but u can improve it

- do hot oil treatment and deep conditioning once a week. this will nourish ur scalp

- massage ut hair iwth a wide toothed comb. this will increase blood supply to ur head

- mosturise ur hair more with leave-in conditioner to stop split ends from forming

for ur hairstyle, keep it spiky using hair wax. it will look cool

i wash my hair w/ soap once a week, it adds volume and helps it stay put (may hair is about 2" long)i just rub water thru it in the mornings to make it shaggy and disheveled and go, i like it, low maintenance.

I had a situation where i had highlights, hated them and dyed over them that was nearly 2 months ago, now my hair looks really dull and the colour isnt great as im quite dark and it took 2/3 loads of dye!

I know! I know! Try this:

1 鎴?cup lemon juice

褰?cup water

Mix, rinse through hair. This will get rid of buildup. Wrap hair in towel for 15 mins, then rinse with cold water

THEN

1 teaspoon baby oil

1 egg yolk

1 cup water

Bowl

Beat the egg yolk, add the oil then beat again. Add to the water. Massage into the scalp and throughout your hair. Rinse well in 1 hour. This will condition! Rinse with cold water.

No matter what, always rinse with really cold water! It locks in shine!

You could use a hot oil treatment ($5-10 @ Walmart for a home kit) The main trick is to keep your hair hydrated!

You could also start using the John Freida Brilliant Brunette colleciton or Pantene Pro V's Brunette Expressions collection. I have used them both and they work very well, but they're a little pricy, so I just use Aussie 3 minute miracle!

To bring out the shine in my hair I use John Freida Brilliant Brunette smoothing cream and I use a leave in conditioner (Nexxus, $10 @ Walmart)

its normal to loose some hair, but myself i find it easier to avoid it if you don't use alot of products on your hair, or too much sun damage...like straightening or curling or anything you do alot.

go for the natural look...its easier to deal with too...and if your natural look isn't so great, use products that won't hurt your hair, try for natural stuff...

but that's just me.
